Novotel Auckland Ellerslie

Handy for Auckland without having to drive into the city. A nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. The bar has a nice atmosphere and seemed to be a meeting place for locals after work. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Would stay again.

My husband, son and I had the pleasure of staying here from 10.03.2023 to 14.03.2023 during Cyclone Gabrielle. We enjoyed waking up to the the delicious hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and toast slathered with butter. Service was exceptional. Our beds were so comfortable. Soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner were provided in our bathroom which I loved. Great location, very close to shops and the main highway. The gym had minimal machines and weights but completely functional, tidy and quiet.The only feedback I have is while we were staying our towels had not dried by the following morning and we had to ask for towels from service staff as they are not replenished daily. Also we were told that parking onsite would cost $15 however more often than not there would be no car bays available and at times the boom gates left open defeating such purpose.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Our room was tidy and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We ate last Time we stayed and the food was delicious!

Great place to stay... Everything is really tidy & clean. But.....Service in the Dining room sure could do with a major tweak as we were waiting so long for another drink, that we gave up waiting & got out own, also gave up waiting for a waiter to take our desert request. Childs order also was received after the adults which isn't great, then we also had to ask for the child's desert. Service in the restaurant was shocking.Great that it's only 10 minutes walk to the train station.

Reception friendly. Beds super comfy with lots of pillows. Very clean . Irons, hairdryer and kettle in rooms so nice . There is a self service laundry available as well as full service so very useful..I was there for conference and food was great but fancy coffee machines were slow and more than half the time not working. Also need to stock up hand towels in bathrooms more often and actually check that soap and creams etc provided in holders are filled.

i am in my hotel room right now and there are no utensils, just two teaspoons and no plates. the shower just about gave the whole bathroom a deep clean and the carpets haven't been vacuumed since the jurassic period. i think this hotel needs to be severely updated and renovated, we paid good money for this room and we expect quality in return.

My Family & I would love to share our experience at the Accacia restaurant last night (31/05)for dinner.This night was special for us because it was my wife's birthday.The Very kind & helpful Restaurant lady Georgia & Kitchen chef, John & Tara showed extreme guest services to me & my family.These are the kinda golden employees & services that we return to.The services & super great food with their smiles makes our glorious night.

Very clean, friendly staff. A great place to stay.Second time staying there still very clean but we needed more towels in bathroom as I had my two kids staying in the room with me. Phone was broken couldn't call housekeeping. Went to reception who said they would arrange it but still no towels. Had to stop the house keeping lady the next morning to get some off her trolley. But apart from that our stay was OK. Service slow in dining and they mixed up my son's order and he got something completely different. The breakfast was nice.

We went here for a conference and the rooms were good-sized and morning tea and drinks were delicious. The food at the buffet was also good, especially the desserts. The biggies are the parking and customer service. The parking spaces were too tight for big cars, and so, it was quite tricky to back in and out. And the customer service... the front desk, café/bar, restaurant and staff, who were just passing by were not very friendly. They were aloof, and the front desk even rolled their eyes on us. Oh my.

Nice looking place, great breakfast buffet and conference rooms facilities. However, the room is the worst I've ever stayed in, underneath the bed was filthy, bed sheet had two stains on it, behind the curtains were stained (watermarking), dusty, shower glass has soap residue, the grout between the wall and tiles had pink mould.
