Stopped in a shady spot for lunch. Nice and peaceful close to town via footbridge and there was a skate park

Nice Park to walk the dog and a reasonably good playground with some new additions, also a skateboard Park. Has picnic tables and access to Waihi River although you need to check there are no signs up for toxic algae before you let your dog into the water
