I have had the misfortune of having to consume the 'food' that this company provides a number of times now.All I can say is awful, terrible food - all from a company who clearly have no QC procedures.You can get a better feed at a BP petrol station than these lot provide.I would never recommend these people to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Only the best. The menu created for our daughters wedding was without doubt one of our highlights. Our guests are raving about the food with many requesting the recipes. We totally enjoyed this experience from start to finish. Initially unsure of the menu choice my daughter and son in law where a little lost to decide. Living overseas also was not easy. Clear explanations of the menu and then a fantastic experience at an amazing tasting when they could finally fly to Christchurch left them looking forward to the actual day, knowing the tastes of the food to come. The wait staff including bar service was outstanding. I never saw an empty bottle on the tables with our guests every need preempted and meet. How lovely for us to hear all the lovely comments as the food came out. Every thing was perfect. I cannot recommend this company high enough - you will be soo pleased to bring this company on board to make your day so special.

This is an excellent service.Flexible pricing, and the quantities were huge. A rough calculation suggests that the ingredients alone would cost more at a supermarket.We said 4:30, and the doorbell rang at 4:29.(We did not hire cutlery or waiter services.)The meat was of excellent quality, and everything was restaurant-quality.Many thanks. Will return at the earliest opportunity (obesity doctors have to eat too).

I had the pleasure of eating White Tie food last week and I am so impressed that the impeccable food quality was matched by world class customer service from the friendly team. In particular I was blown away by the friendly and helpful nature of Sarah.

I was providing driving services for the day. White Tie Catered for a wedding reception in the country side. My observations, were of a highly professional, highly skilled group of people, providing a service ' par excellonce', very impressed. If your needing a company for an upcoming event, and you want the elite, the best, consider White Tie.

Got some take away Chicken Marbella. Delicious. My guests were asking for the recipe.

We recently had the amazing team from White Tie/The Catering Dept cater our 120 guest wedding. WOW! George and her team went above and beyond! The most professional catering service we have seen at any wedding to date, the most delicious food, fun, friendly wait staff and outstanding communication and support from before you even book them. The best catering company from Canterbury, you will not regret getting this team in to cater for any event!

We used the Catering Dept for our garden party style wedding. The quality of the food was good and the service and organisation was professional. The problem was that we were repeatedly assured that guests would feel like they'd had a full meal. Guests did not think that at all and we were left feeling angry that the Catering Dept had overpromised and underdelivered. They didn't feel apologetic about it but did discount the cheese board that we ordered (thank God) even though it shouldn't have been necessary (it certainly was). We would not recommend them.
