We are SO LUCKY to have Butter in Christchurch. Truly world class pâtisserie. Everything is absolutely perfect, from the simplest madeleine to the most complex tart creation. Corentin is an artist.

Christchurch is lucky to have a gem like this. Not only are the creations delicious, but everything is personally made with care.I have been lucky to find out about this place from Instagram as he was setting up, and honestly I'm so glad I did. Every time I get a tart, cake or canele's everyone is impressed.Treat yourself, and support a local legend too.

Honestly, absolutely the best tarts, pastry and desserts you will ever taste. I have been a lot of places around the world and I am a big sweet tooth, but nothing will ever be as good as BUTTER. No one makes a canelé in Ōtautahi like Corentin! The best stuff honestly. His tarts are always crisp and delish and blows me away. My only complaint is he doesn’t trade 25/7, 7 days a week.
