Just a little story first.I want to build a house to my design, so I drew a plan of the house design. I was subdividing my land. I took the plan to an architect and said to him that I wanted a key in the door build. The architect said he could do that. The architect started the ball rolling, but I needed from him the total price. As we were talking with the council on what we could do and not do, I kept asking for the cost. In the end I sacked the architect. I was told by friends to try a proper building company. I then got in touch with Tony at G J Gardner and what a difference. Tony went through my plan and made life such a breeze.We went through everything from house, land, subdividing, plumbing drainage and price. The staff that works with Tony were all great to deal with at all times, even when I was changing a few things as we went. G J Gardner even let me build my own kitchen for my house as I am a Cabinetmaker.End result I have a great house which I am living in now for over a year and have found no fault in the build. If you want to build give G J Gardner a call, you will not regret it. My house is available to view if you come with a GJ Gardner representative.

I stopped at a set of traffic lights on the right hand lane to turn right at an intersection near Botany. There were continuous oncoming traffic so I was waiting for the oncoming traffic to clear so I could turn right safely.. An older guy driving GJ Gardner car kept on honking his horn because he just wanted to continue straight and I was in his way. Very rude and inconsiderate. I had both babies in the car with me and what did he want me to do, drive straight into oncoming traffic so he could get home 2 minutes faster? Such arrogance and complete disregard for other's safety. I hope you have better ethics when it comes to building houses.

Contacted them for 2 bedroom rental extention in Papatoetoe. She said she would be in touch. No reply at all.Very slack service. Glad I found out before committing to build with them.Jeff.

GJs Manakau / East Auckland built us a fantastic home. The design and build quality is excellent. Everyone we dealt with was honest, straightforward and professional, this took a lot of the stress out of the building process. A year and a couple of cyclones later and we've had no issues.

Educational, interesting and the tram ride to motat 2 was delightful. Probably not the best activity for teens though

The new franchise owner, has promised & shown very good & speedy intent to fix a problem - created by the old franchise owner.We can't wait to use our range hood that is actually connected outside.Thank you, for your very fast response.Can confirm our issue has been fully resolved by the new franchise owner.
