Have never heard back from them

I've never used this service or been to their business, but google maps thought I had. I was trying to clear it from my location history when I clicked the review stars by accident in google maps on my mobile. Then I couldn't figure out how to change it till I got home. I was going to delete it but since the business actually responded, I'm upgrading the review to four stars instead.

Very bad. Didn't know what they were doing. Not going to use them again

Select Lawn Mowing was certainly not the cheapest quote to mow our lawn, but they were the only ones who were not booked out weeks in advance. I usually do the lawns myself, but we were out of the country for an extended period and had people looking after our house while we were away.The lawn (20 meters by 8 meters) was a bit overgrown, but their quote stated that they had viewed the lawn and would charge $60 because of this. After engaging Select Lawn Mowing, I was informed via email that they would be in touch to set up a date and time. The next day I received a text from one of their employees saying they were sorry they didn’t come today as the weather was bad. Surprising, since we had not agreed on a date or a time (remember we had people looking after our house…plus we have 2 very big dogs). At least they were keen. The mow was completed on the 23rd of November.Upon returning home on the 12th of December, I was extremely disappointed to find that they had not used a catcher when they cut the grass, and instead left the clippings strewn all over the lawn. After 3 weeks of the clippings sitting on the lawn, we arrived home to find half the lawn had died (a slow painful death) and it now resembled a desert.After contacting them to find out what had gone wrong, they informed us that if we wanted the clippings to be taken away that WE should have specified. There was no option for this in their quote, and I have never used a lawn service that did not remove the clippings. There was no offer to fix our lawn, nor an apology or any admission that anything had been done wrong.Their communication was average, we paid extra for a first mow, they knew the grass was long and they still chose not to remove the clippings (I assume they would know that grass likes sunlight).Do NOT select this lawn destroying company (unless you don’t like your grass)

Always on time, great prices and good communication. So easy to deal with.

These people are not reliable and the service is very poor and i always paid on time and i have bank statements that verify this finding excuses for this bad service is unacceptable

You guys mowed my auntys lawns on the 02/03/23 and she is very very sick and you guys did the most poorest job i have ever seen this house have and charged her an arm and a leg!! My aunty takes so much pride in her lawns before she fell sick the lawns were bloody beautiful . You think yous could match how it use to look by how much yous charge but no. Left it an absolute mess. Hire my aunty when shes better she could show yous a thing or ten.
