Dogs of Petone Beach

This part of Petone Beach is so beautiful it's easy to see why it is popular with dog walkers. Who would object to walking their dogs on a lovely sandy beach where the sunsets are glorious, and footpaths are well designed and stretch for miles while there's no shortage of green parks for your canine friends to run around if they tire of the sand or water?You pick up your dog's waste of course, and there are plastic bag dispensers and bins for that so there's no excuse to leave any of their mess around. The streams and permanent, shallow puddles in this zone are also a favourite haunt for the many regulars to frolic in. There is also good parking available so you can get right up close to the waterline.
