Noodle Canteen

A nice place to get a cheap(ish) feed after a night on the town. Has a very extensive menu with some gems in there. People a friendly and there are tables for you to devour your food.

Yummy!! Thankyou for serving great food so hard to find in wellington for affordable price! Especially with prices of everything going up! I was very pleased I ordered dumplings wontons spring roll and honey chicken with noodles everything was spot on! Apart from the spring roll it was like an apple pie very strange maybe dropped a whole packet of cinnamon by accident if not please change that recipe so I can order your spring rolls as I definitely will be back! I will be a regular from now on thankyou

Fabulous yummy and fast food with great service

Aside from the store needing a serious clean, as its covered in grease and dirt, which is your first sign to stay away, they appear to have zero quality controls and hygiene. I got a honey chicken where the noodles tasted burnt and had HAIRS IN THE MEAL (see photo).Stay away from this cesspit.0/10

Noodle canteen is gangsta. Secret menu item: satay tofu udon

I have been a customer of many of the Noodle Canteen takeaways (including Johnsonville, Porirua and Taupo), unfortunately the Courtenay Place franchise is incredibly poor in comparison:- Service. Waited several minutes to be served. All the staff (three were on deck last night) were focused on cooking the meals. No acknowledgement or indication when we walked in that we had been noticed / that they were busy but would get to us. Two customers who were served after us got their meals before us (both customers ordered two dishes, the same as us). When the order was finally completed don't expect any pleasantries - just a couple of grunts were directed at us that our meal was ready.- The Hokkein Mee dish. This is a favourite of mine, unfortunately the chief absolutely butchered the flavour. It is supposed to have a 'mild chilli flavour'. Well the dish was doused in chilli, each mouthful included several chilli seeds, my lips and tongue were numb and the sweat was pouring off me. The dish was inedible and extremely disappointing.Overall we felt we were an inconvenience, we got the sense they really did not want to be there and were doing their best to turn us away with their appalling service and inedible meal. There are many food options at this end of Courtenay Place, we're not going to be frequenting this food outlet again - AVOID!!

NEVER order from the Courtney Place store. If there was less than 1 star I would have chosen that. Our order was over $140 and we only got half of it. The staff were rude, refused to rectify the situation and hung up the phone. We have been regular customers of Noodle Canteen but will never order from here again!

Amazing food as always, lovely staff and quick service :)

Freshly cooked, speedy service, massive serving sizes. Don’t make the mistake I made and over order. One serving is enough to fill you up.
