Nice & quiet place to camp. Better have insect repellent with you when you camp here. $2 shower is good but shower time limit is annoying.

If you are not staying in the camping you can't use the shower ( even if your paid).In campermate, they said you could use it, but that's wrong.Nothing was written on the entry of the park to know as well.The care taker come to us and let us know. Very rude care taker !

Great little hidden camping ground. It is based around a cricket field. So if they are playing you park at own risk. Fare enough if you are aware of it in advance. We loved the place. Only stayed one night in self contained camper but their facilities were great.Sorry forgot to take an image.The local pub is great and the general store. Which sells Fairle Pies which you must try. We had the pulled pork. Talk more about them in another post. Also saw the structural engineers delight if you are in to bridges. The Red bridge is a must and it is 2min from Lugget

Luggate Campground is a special place.You will stay around a cricket field occupied by automatic watering.For $10 per night per person, you will have a quiet place, and the beautiful Australian Magpies sounds to wake up to (video of the sounds in the comments). Showers is $2.You should meet Sheryl (last picture) who’s living permanently since December 2015. She’s super welcoming and will give you the best advices for visiting Wānaka.You will also have the best spot to watch cricket games every Saturday.I can only recommend you to have a stay.Sincerely,DANSERinsta : @dancingalot

Lovely campsite, lovely owners, best value for money around Wanaka. Good hot showers (2$), clean facilities. Friendly cat, nice pub a couple hundred meters down the road.

Nice location but very full and not suitable for campervans with solar as lots of low hanging trees. Facilities ok though.
