Yaldhurst Family Doctors.So, we moved to Christchurch my partner and I and we enrolled at this practice. I'm a Kiwi, she is Filipina.We went to an appointment only to be told by the reception lady she 'hopes' we will be paying the full price today. I said yes, how much?She $76!! same as the casual fee, because she isn't a NZ citizen, just on a visitor visa.Makes me wonder why on earth I bothered to enrol her if she was going to be charged as a 'casual'. We werent explained this at enrolment time. Far too expensive for a 5 minute chat with a doctor and no medicine asked for or given. So....we walked out. Way too expensive!

6 years in NZ and they are the hands down best doctors you can find any where in the South Island, They are all Senior doctors, They will first ask you for your symptoms, & then they will explain you why some thing is happening to you, Then they will tell you why they are thinking about this Medicine and what other alternative medicine options you can have, Not all Doctors in New Zealand do this . Even the old once at other places. They are bit cheaper then Others as well but not as cheap as community centers . We dont live near them so dont use them any more .

Been seeing dr Stoop for 20+ years. Have a really great relationship and having great care with my arthritis pain, diabetes, kidney problems and depression. Very easy to talk to as well as dr Van Rij and Dr Dodge. Staff and nurses are also very kind and thoughtful.

Both male doctors have very little respect for mental health, the wait of over an hour would be okay if reception would acknowledge it. Four generations of my family have been using this place but im shocked at the way they deal with mental health. The reception on the phone are awful and rude. The saving grace for this place are the nurses and one female Doctor. Im encouraging my family to go elsewhere.

The receptionist said they do not take non-resident & non-enrolled patient even though their website clearly says they will take that kind of patient and charge for $100. So either their website is misleading or the receptionist is not doing their job.

Nurses and doctors are so lovely there, but the receptionist seems like she needs to re think her job. She's so rude that it really let's the whole place down. You're suppose to be front house representing the place and here you are talking down to others and making them feel uncomfortable. Check yourself.

Simon Dodge and Rob have been my Doctors for nearly 15 years. I have never had a GP as good as them. I have always respected their professional advice and my children and I would not move to other Gps even Though I have moved out of the area.The reception staff Bridget and Karen are awsome and so helpfulI.I know when I move to Wellington I will be hard pushed to find a surgery as great as Yaldhurst Medical Centre.

It's lovely after experiencing the wonderful old team to go in and see a near new team. The nurses are great and I have really enjoyed seeing the two new female Drs as well as my previous Dr who is still there.Thank you for all your support for our family.
