Harrisons Carpet & Flooring - Whangarei

I received the worst and most unprofessional service from Harrisons Carpets that I have ever experienced-despite being a previous loyal and caring customer. When I tried to responsibly share my genuine concern for such a poor experience with the owner/manager Nickie I received no apology but justifications.. and she closed the door in my face. I then went straight down the road to Pierce Flooring Xtra and received outstandingly good service. A job that Harrisons had eventually quoted a very high price for, and said that could not be done for many weeks, was done the very next week by Pierce Flooring Xtra -who did an immaculate professional job, and saved me thousands of dollars. As a genuine, caring and responsible customer I returned to Harrisons to try to appropriately resolve any concerns. Rather than listening and appreciating an honest customer, I was falsely accused by Nickie's husband Leon of abusing" her. When I respectfully said that that was not the truth Leon said that he "didn't care" and ordered me out. Pierce Flooring Xtra can be so proud of their quality and highly professional service. Harrisons should be ashamed."

Hi Nickie and Leon! Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone at Harrisons for all your help with the flooring in my home and in my rental property. I absolutely love the new vinyl and would recommend it to everyone as it is so hardwearing yet it still looks so natural. Your attitude was professional and genuine at all times. Your installers were helpful and patient and went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend Harrisons to all my friends.

From beginning to end, the whole of my experience was really good with Harrisons carpet. Lucy on the phone was always friendly and helpful through out the process. The quote was very quickly given to us and the laying of the carpet was delayed enough for us to empty out the several cabinets and bookcases we had. The guys who came to lay the carpet were friendly and helpful too and hen we had a couple of small problems, Lucy was quick to get a layer back and he was just as friendly to fix things. I can't praise Harrisons enough and would certainly recommend them over any of the other carpet retailers in town and we DID call them all !! Having previously used another who we would NOT use again. Thanks again Harrisons for a brilliant experience. Keith in Waipu.

We tried an online booking which didnt go as well as we had hoped, but Leon Inder made time for us and was extremely helpful, obviously experienced and came up with a carpet solution that fitted the rooms and for a reasonable cost. The young men that did the fitting were respectful, helpful and professional. They did a great job and the rooms look great. We chose Invincible-Classic 941 Hokitika, it is warm and soft with a good guarantee. I would happily recommend Harrisons Carpets Whangarei and their team

Nickie is so awesome and friendly. Both Nickie and Leon are really helpful and really care about making sure you get the right carpet for you. Always kept us informed of how things were going and their guys were punctual and efficient.

Our carpet was layed about 6 months ago and it was obvious that we needed 3 extra edging strips which were not in original quote. We had to wait but the job completed recently at no extra cost. Very happy with job. Great carpet layers. Polite and cleaned up after job and great customer service from Lucy. Recommended.

WHY is it SO HARD to find your address or get through to you guys, I'm annoyed before I even get there!! Every other carpet business in whangarei has their address listed immediately you google their business! Ridiculous. Then when you call, you're stuck on hold for 20 minutes to listen to a spiel.

Nicky & Leon gave us a competitive deal on our carpet and flooring requirements along with timely follow up quotes and flexibilty around a working renovation timeline. The carpet laying team were friendly and corteous and worked all day without breaks to minimise the disruption to our week. Would definetly recommend the Harrison team!
