Appalling customer service. A group of friends and I went here on the 08/07 for drinks. We paid for the drinks at the bar as we ordered however at the end when we left the manager chased down one of the group and told her we hadn’t payed a tab. She was embarrassed so just settled. When we went back to contest the additional charge the manager accused us leaving without paying as quote “times must be hard”. He refused to show us the receipts for our table and the order history which I thought was extremely strange and became extremely defensive of himself and his staff. I don’t think I’ve ever been spoken to this way by anyone running a business. Overall felt like was some sort of scam. There are plenty of nice bars in Brewtown, avoid this one.

Worst meal of our lives. Nachos were strange, had huge bits of tough pork u couldn’t fit on a chip, also a weird fruity/vomit sauce. I think they ran out of sour cream as it was whipped cream on top. It was just a cold uneatable mess.Burger was not pulled pork, just chunks of cut up pork. All we ate was the chips, $150 for a bowl of chips was disappointingOne of the group was very sick after trying their meal.We would not recommend or ever go back.

A much smaller bar than some of the others at Brewtown, but far better service than Wild Kiwi with food equally as good. The staff here are actually competent, friendly, well presented and don't argue amongst themselves in front of customers. Would recommend this place for a get to together or a few casual drinks.

I know we went for a meal on the 2nd of Jan and all that but the pizzas given to our table were barely cooked. Other diners pizza looked OK...disappointing use of waaay to much fake cheese on the nachos and little of anything else. The mince was super plain.Lovely staff but the meals were not great

Two stars due to the time it took for food to come out and a few orders were missed, no advisory that there may of been a wait either. Some staff were nice and friendly but others seemed flustered and unsure what they were doing. Food was average and we were told they had run out of a few different things which was disappointing but it happens

The food was ok, but the service was exceptional. One request was accommodated with a smile and a little bit of extra service was provided. The staff were great. The beer and the gin were delicious and refreshing

ok, first off... it's Te Aro Brewing. in Brewtown. of course the beers are going to be good. a surprisingly solid cocktails menu too, though. food menu was quite nice, many items i'd be excited to try - a rare thing in my experience. opted for the Caesar salad, was quite nice, thought the egg was a bit odd but it worked, almost perfectly cooked, too. however there was a considerable lack of dressing, so i was eating mainly dry salad, bummer. pork belly bites have an AMAZING sauce on them, but were a little overcooked and chewy. mother-in-law liked her tomato & basil pasta but said it was a bit dry, and father-in-law said his terakihi was overdone. i'm chalking it up to it being busy with several large groups (including ours), so i'll definitely give it another try because there's quite a bit of promise, and the flavors are really rather good.

The food came fairly quickly which was good, had to chase up a drink though. We've been here before and it was amazing, this visit wasn't quite as good. The pork belly bites had a great flavour but weren't as crispy as usual. Tried the beef nacho's for the first time, they tasted of nothing, you get more flavour from an el paso sachet. No seasoning or anything in the beef or guac. The corn chips had some flavour, that's about it. Wouldn't recommend. Husband was happy with his chicken loaded fries. Once we got our food, no staff ever came back for a drinks order or anything. We sat there for about half an hour with dirty dishes piled around from the group we were with. Some people wanted another drink & to order dessert but no one came back. It wasn't that busy and some staff were 'play fighting' on the other side of the restaurant so we paid, left and got dessert at the waffle box (which was amazing & great service).

The staff were very kind and attentive, but please remember not to clear plates whilst people are still eating. I would have liked to finish eating that salad! The presentation for the starter/entree was more that of a breakfast item, however it was absolutely delicious so would certainly eat again.Crispy cauliflower salad was a little light on the cauliflower, but it was very delicious.

Four of us went to dinner here last night. We ordered pizza and nachos. Everything had a really funny flavour to it, and the nachos were stale. Also the beer tasted off like vinegar. Three out of the four of us were sick the same night.
