Meadowood House Wedding Venue and Accommodation

Gorgeous place. Its really a bit of artwork.House is an art deco restoration, with a few period furnishings, though I doubt that even when new, the place was ever more beautiful.Owners are kind and friendly. They’ve put allot of love into this property and it shows. There’s shady walkways, a sunny garden, glam-ping tents, an outdoor hot tub and a bar hut, and generous provisions in the fridge.I was traveling solo, but it was easy to see how great it would be to stay here with a group.Couldn’t possibly recommend staying here more.

Lovely hosts and gorgeous art deco Villa. Attention to detail was outstanding from the themed rooms to the plunger Coffee and extravagant breakfast. Very welcoming atmosphere and the gardens and outdoor furniture amazing. Check out zeffer brewery next door as well. I would recommend meadowood as a great place to hire out with friends and relax.

Amazing place, we went on a glamping getaway from our kids. Peaceful, well set up with everything you need. Tents are just amazing! Cant rate this place enough. The owners are lovely and helpful too! Will definitely be back in the future!!

Loved staying at Meadowood. We hosted a hens party there and booked at all the glamping tents. They were perfect for our event and the common areas like the speak easy and chill out lawn were perfect for the group to relax in. The hosts were amazing and so accommodating, even letting us use the large function tent for our PaintVine activity. Would recommend to anyone looking a cute glamping getaway as a couple or for larger groups like hens parties

Completely wonderful experience.Emma (the owner) was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were stylish and relaxing, and the surrounding gardens were stunning. Walking through the gardens at night was the highlight of my trip.It's worth noting that the kitchen and bathroom are shared among other guests, but everything was kept in perfectly tidy condition.I didn't get to spend nearly enough time around the house since I was in the area for business, but I can't wait to go back for a holiday.

Amazing stay at a perfect location. Has everything to relax, comfortable and close enough to town to not be a problem. Outdoor baths and open fire are just some of the highlights. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend glamping.

Lovely, beautifully decorated accomodation in wine country. Emma is a very friendly and helpful host. Rooms are comfortable (all 4 are very different so take time to check what you want before booking) and perfectly clean. Communal space is lovely and it's great that breakfast is selve serve so you can have any time that suits.We would love to come back in the Summer when we can make the most of the outside facilities and perhaps try glamping!

Thank you to the spectacular hosts. We had a wonderful time and really appreciate the efforts made to keep us all safe. Perfect place for us to hang out and enjoy the region. A stunning house, especially loved the wisteria and the dogs

We had a group booking earlier this year at Meadowood. Sadly as soon as we arrived and settled we got a text from the host accusing us of bringing more guests than booked which was not the case. We felt very unwelcome and scrutinised, it definitely ruined our stay.Place was also very cold, the main building didn’t have sufficient heating other than the kitchen area.Would not recommend.

Our family group of nine stayed here for four days to attend a family wedding. The house is just great with all the different room themes and would sleep ten if you used the sewing room as well. If you included the glamping tents in the vineyard the place will easily accommodate eighteen people, possibly more. If you have a group going to the Hawkes bay, you would be mad to stay anywhere else. The place is every bit as good as the photos with the groves of mature trees & open spaces, away from the road, half way between Napier and Hastings, we just loved it! The hosts Colin & Emma are lovely people and within a few minutes of meeting we felt we had known them all our lives. We didn't want to leave.
