Typical lrish feel.. turn of the century. Maybe needs a Lil touch modern refurbish downstairs but comfortable enough. Food good. Entertainment average.

A Roast with no roast potatoes or roast veg! This was disappointing. The veg was cold and seemed to have been boiled. An Irish bar needs to have roast potatoes with a Sunday roast.

My Welly friends chose to dine here when I was in town for WoW. Location great and staff helpful. Other than this my meal (pork ribs) was quite terrible. The meat did not fall off the bone and the sauce wasn't great either. I didn't finish it as I had no interest in eating meat that had the texture of rubber. Fries and salad were fine. Garlic bread could have been more buttery and should be advertised as one half of a long bread roll". The man performing didn't really add to the dining experience either. He was way too loud which was a bit odd for dinner time. My friends and I had to yell to conversate and we were sitting close to each other. I would not go back based on this experience."

I was there last night at JJ murphys 18/01/2023 and I had terrible customer experience. The Guy name Hamish who served us was so Rude & arrogant as if he doesnt like his Job. First he Disrespected a female staff by yelling at her in front of whole bar. Then he yelled at a customer in the queue. Later he yelled at us because we asked some assistance for ordering food from the menu. Later on girl 2 staff girls delivered food on our table and they apologized and mentioned that his name is Hamish and he is our manager. He does not treat our staff with respect. I feel bad for those young girls suffering under that Idiot. I hope JJ murphys owner will take action against Idiot Hamish.

Had a fish burger and chips and was very disappointed. I removed the worse parts of the batter but still eating even half of it made me feel I’ll from all the (old?) oil in the batter! The burger bun was also not as fresh as it should have been.

The ambience is normal, as is the food. However, it's a rather nice (and free) place to spend some time with your friends playing as there are 5 pools. Nice staff, reasonable prices, and good location.

Very bad service by the female manager on duty, we do understand about rules in place re public holidays, Buutttt there is such a thing as the delivery of that message to patrons!!! The way you get spied on while being seated, the lack of items to order on food menu!!, and then worst of all the fries were cooked in old oil, probably from yesterday!!! You need to do better!!!
