This place!! Rivals #7 & 8 Satay Singapore!Great friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and the food is cooked fresh so expect minimum of 20mins even on a quiet night but it’s so worth it!The meals are good sized servings which makes it easy to share around the table.The knowledgeable staff can run you through the menu, and that is an event itself.This is on my “must” list for the future.

If you are expecting authentic indonesian food, Soerabaja delivers. Lovely atmosphere and great decor. Melt in your mouth beef rendang and non greasy crispy chicken ayam penyet with awesome spicy sambal.

Very nice service and excellent host. I visited at 5.30pm and the place had Not a single person so granted good service.I had chicken skewers (10.5$) as entree and this was tasty. Slightly Charred (? On purpose:) with a great sauce. Taste n value 3/5Udang bakr (prawns) 21.5$ and rice . Serving was small for the price but with rice filling. Taste ok. Not spicy at all compared to what Indonesian food really is! Modified to local taste I assume. Veges were undercooked. Taste n value 2/5Seeet was panna cotta 11$ approx. this was ok. Definitely premise n served. Taste value 3/5Food is expensive for the Serving and taste for the dishes I tried nothing special.

Incredible meal, best asian dish I’ve had all year, even better than when I was in Indonesia. They deserve to be far more popular, great decor and vibe also!

Great meal here, satay ayam were delicious. Friendly and welcoming of us including kids who enjoyed kids menu too. Recommend the Javanese lamb and the rendang, both were excellent. We’ll be back, also drinks are reasonably priced.

We picked up takeaways from here on a whim. Seriously disappointed. I got the slow cooked Javanese lamb... It was literally 2 neck chops(?) In the most bland sauce,they that were cooked in with some white rice for $17.50. & this is the meal they recommended I try! Hubby got the rendang & both our meals were only Luke warm & pretty much cold by the time we got half way through. Won't return & definitely won't recommend this place to anyone! Really wished I'd gotten photos before we ate so you can see how shocking it was. Definitely did not look like the picture on the menu!

My wife and I have been here a few times and really enjoyed it. The service was great and the food was delicious. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat in the area.
