Beach Front Motel
Great room with plenty of space and a decent size spa bath to enjoy as well.The location is perfect, right opposite the beach and a short walk to venture into town.We will stay again next time we are in the area.

I have never placed a review on a Motel before but this was so bad it needs to be reviewed.Our room ( 20 ) smelt horrible, the toilet is about a foot out from the wall, there were loose cigarette butts on the balcony deck, 1 kitchen drawer could not be opened with the entry door closed, the bed was so bad that we were up at 5-00 am and were lucky enough to book else where for a night as accommodation in Napier was very limited or we would have left immediately. We were booked and paid for 2 nights. No refund was forthcoming so we lost the cost. Be warned. This place was basically unfit for habitation.

Good location,really appreciate there support for those affected by cyclone Gabriel...In my case only negative was not allowed visitors..7/10

Would not stay here again or recommend it, our room was still dirty wasn't even vacuumed properly, rubbish still under the beds & couches, I wouldn't have really cared about that but because we had to wait an hour & a half to even check in because it still needed cleaning only to get to the room & it was messy was annoying. Also no one come to collect dirty towels or rubbish so had a big pile of both when we checked out, when I checked out the guy asked if I left them outside our door but there was no signage on what to do or where to leave them. The rooms could also do with an upgrade especially for the price we paid.

The rooms were old and didn't look clean. I went there as I had good experience in 2018. This time it was not that great. They didn't clean the rooms or changed the sheets and towels. I had to go to the reception and get them. In my opinion they lacked on many fronts. For $200 a night there are certain expectations for service and cleanliness of the room. Bathroom looked like it needed repairing and cleaning. Mouldy rooms and bathrooms. Toilet seat was broken and looked unhygienic. Bathroom tiles looked dirty. The bedside table was stained. Walls had stains and marks. Everything looked like it could use a renovation and clean. Beach Front Hotel failed on those expectations. The excuse was first Covid-19 and then their receptionist said they were short staffed. I was not at all happy as I had a one year old and I didnt feel like leaving him on the carpet. I will strongly not recommend the motel to anyone and I will definitely not go there next time I visit Napier.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed!! I’ve never written a bad review before, but had to let others know. The mould in the rooms (multiple, including next to where my kids slept) was gross. Multiple areas with wallpaper coming away. Dirt on the walls. Light shades completely broken. Lights bulbs missing in bathroom. Mould on shower curtain. Yellow blankets (supposed to be white). We were in the 2 bedroom room. STAY AWAY. Paid $735 for 3 nights!! Can’t believe it. I’ve paid less for much nicer. Don’t even know how they can legally let people pay to stay in a room this bad!! Not once we’re towels replaced, bins emptied or toilet paper refreshed.

Filthy unsanitary mattress multiple urine stains , bloody hand mark ,it needs to be thrown away . The tub chairs that were falling apart, window latch missing and the shower base had a big crack in it. Slept on the floor as at least that was cleanWe were refunded for the rest our stay.Someone has started to refurbish the unit it has a nice kitchenette and new carpet.The owners need to listen to feedback and act on it as this could be a top motel.It looked as if the mattress has been used for longer term accommodation

Wonderful views from the balcony. Walking distance to town, restaurants and cafe's. Fabulous to have a very spa bath of spa pool size in the unit. The bed was very comfortable and the unit atmosphere very good.

We stay 2 days. Spa pool didn't work and a crack in the bath. Power switch in bathroom pretty dangerous. Also hair dryer didn't work. Fridge seals coming off and couldn't close fridge and needs defrosting. Also chair by bed wobbly. For what we paid it wasn't work it. No apology or some sort of refund.
