The garlic soy chicken was nice flavoured and the onion one taste like sour cream and onion pringles! Very big portion, will try again the other flavours.

I just love the Dak Burger there, especially the Volcano Dak Burger. You can take food from here and go over to the Birkenhead Warf and sit there and eat. All my friends who I took there to have there burgers just loved it. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

The chicken was very crispy and delicious. I would recommend hot and spicy over crispy, as hot and spicy felt more flavorful.One thing to note however is that this place doesn't really seem to be for dine in. So perhaps consider taking away.

DAKOGI Korean fried chicken
We were looking for an alternative takeaway option so decided to give Dakogi a go... So glad we did... the various flavors of chicken available coupled with the many delicious side dishes made for excellent meal combinations. The service was very friendly and while it took a little over half an hours wait it was well worth it... my family have all remarked that they will be return customers...

So thrilled a new Korean fried chicken came to Birkenhead! All I can is yum, this is a hit. We usually go to Taiping to buy the korean fried chicken, now we don’t have to go far.. Reasonable price and quick service!

I used to love this place but not any more. The main reason is to put the price up but the serving portion is to be gone down. I was shocked how small the portion was. Recession is approaching very fast and I will cook it myself.

We love dakogi but recently their portion sizes have gotten smaller every order and the price of course has increased used to go regularly but now I'd think twice about it

DAKOGI Korean fried chicken
Dakogi is a fairly new opening in Birkenhead/Highbury that specialises in Korean fried chicken. They have options of boneless or bone-in chicken with a variety of different sauce options. The size options are half or whole chicken. They also have burgers and other side dishes like kumara fries and coleslaw.I got the soy garlic dak as well as the onion flake chicken, with chips and kumara fries as sides. We had a little drive before we could enjoy the chicken and it did get a little soggy but some bits were still crispy. I found both chicken types to be a bit on the salty side but still nice. The chips were addictive. The portions were also quite large, the while chicken feeding 5 of us.It was quite a nice place for fried chicken with lots of saucy options. It is worth a try if you are in the area since it is a good value for money.
