My husband and I booked and went last Saturday nightWe wanted to give the new owners some supportWe were seated at very wobbly table for 2 situated right beside the door out to the toilets - which was busy with people using toilets and draughty to the extent I had to eat my meal with my jacket on. There was not much menu selection. I had the fish which was lovely. My husband had steak which was tough and gristly.We will not be returning to dine hereAll in all a really bad dining experience and would not recommend

Stopped in on way back from chch couple of weeks ago. Meals took a while to arrive and didn't appear that busy but most likely due to lack of staff perhaps. The meals were lovely and generous in size which we always like. Staff were also friendly. Will pop in again for an evening meal when passing. Nice clean Bar and atmosphere. Recommend others to try the chicken was delicious!

Booked a table to celebrate with our work colleagues after a big few weeks on the road. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the service, no drink orders were offered to two people at our table. No water or water glasses on the table, food was not up to servicing standard. Lamb salad had no flavour and the meat was over cooked. Roast with vegetables that were serviced cold and undercooked. Food tasted as though it has been left out of the fridge for too long. Glassware was still dirty with lipstick marks.We also watched as two staff ignored a customer at the bar waiting to order drinks.-We will not be back.

Great atmosphere, service good although would have appreciated someone checking our meals were okay. They weren't, most inedible meal. Unpeeled dirty carrots, stringy beans, yellow broccoli, lumpy mash potatoes and overcooked salmon. Hubby's pork belly was nice but once again, disgusting veg and overly strong gravy. $82 for both meals and 2 soft drinks. We were offered a small discount" when we complained. We paid the full price but certainly won't go back. Very disappointing as it's a treat to go out for a meal and diners deserve better."

Last min decision to drop by for lunch pitstop w the kids, service was great, food portion was good. Ordered the ribs - fantastic! the prawn/duck pizza was a hit. Had lattes and chai latte after our meals to prep for the cold weather ahead

Stopped for a meal in transit home. Nice menu selections and a delicious plate of food. Could do with more 0 alcohol options for drivers, but good friendly staff and restaurant space away from the bar was relatively quiet and nicely presented. Will stop again.

Kids mac n cheese was approx 1/2 cup of packet mac n cheese with 1cm of melted cheese on top, no flavour and $12, daughter not impressed. Other meals were pretty average, being fish and chips, pork belly, beef burger and kids cheese burger. Order to service was 50 mins, restaurant half full. Feeding 3 adults and 2 children was $179.15.

Well got a table for 2 went outside they forgot about us and had to get the menu myself. Have to order at the bar ended up leaving felt like they didn't care and us.
