Marsden Point Beach
A lovely beach with white sand. Would take my family again to enjoy. Need to get in quick to find a good parking spot. Only downside is there is no proper toilets. Also great spot for crabbing if you are keen.

Fantastic, long, white-sandy ocean beach. Family friendly. Beach fishing, paddle crabs, Tua Tua (eastern end), surfing, blo carts, walking the dog etc. Multiple access points with carparking from the Oil Refinery to beyond Waipu Surf Life Saving Club.Check it out

One of a few beach options in this locale. Tidal flats close to the large marina. Kid friendly play frames.

Great beach to take the dogs for a run. You do sometimes get the smell of the refinery but it not too bad.

Marsden Point Beach
Beautiful beach strip with blue sea and fine white sand. There is hardly any shade so make sure to have your own tent. The closest place for a snack or coffee is drive away so make sure you have enough water. There is no shower around and the portable loo is best not be used. This place is supposedly good for fishing and crabbing but when we went we hardly caught any so don’t carry high hope if you are planning to this.
