Rude service. Why work in a chemist with such a surly, grumpy attitude? Why does the owner of Simon's Pharmacy not employ friendly staff? We now go elsewhere.

Staff are routinely rude, do not listen, and treat customers as an inconvenience. Every time I visit I'm made to feel like I'm imposing and shouldn't be bothering them.Pharmacists are reasonably friendly but incapable of getting prescriptions right. I routinely run out of one medication days before the others that were prescribed at the same time. They take forever to get anything ready, it's normal to wait a week or more for a simple prescription that other pharmacies can do same-day.This is the only pharmacy in Tawa, but I would rather travel somewhere else than go here.

Short term closure on Saturday mornings appears to be permanent. This is a major problem for those who cannot pick up medications during usual Mon-Fri business hours.

I went in yesterday to enquire about a repeat i hadnt recieved yet and while i was waiting the older lady in the pharmacy was saying spme rather racist comments about the olympic rugby and i was discusted! The short woman with strait blone hair and glasses was exstreamly rude saying that i had no repeat and that i was lying. Im actually discusted. If your burnt out at work you need to take time off not be rude and aggressive to customers. Im taking my prescriptions elseware. Its very disapointing for tawa to have such a toxic shop.

Highly recommend. I know these guys have great services and systems in place from firsthand experience. All the negative reviews are people simply too impatient to wait a few minutes because of Covid restrictions.

Even the one star is too generous. The front facing blonde lady has been rude on both one-off occasions I've needed to get prescriptions from here. I'm choosing to travel out of Tawa to get my prescriptions from now on! Terrible terrible service and experience!

Last year they substituted with a lower mg without notifying me as the higher mg is phased out (found out later as other pharmacy notified me). Letting me know ahead could have saved the concern. Another one this year took 12 days, was first told it may arrive in 4 days but I called on 11th day and they were just about to order it. If I hadn't called and told I already need it they would have forgotten for weeks!

Very challenging time for local chemists with wholesale competition, covid19 and staff shortages. This chemist provides a good service and I would recommend them.
