It feels like you're walking into subway except you're greeted with kind country hospitality and food and drinks to match. I'll definitely be trying out the fish and chips in this gorgeous pink café.Good luck, and keep it up!

Good coffee. The pies are good, too. They have other things, but I don't look at it closely. There is no indoor seating. There are some picnic tables outside. So great on a fine day when it isn't too windy.

Ice coffee without an ice cream. Really? Coffee, water, milk, ice-cubes and small top of cream from can spray. I would expect a little bit more for $7. I thought it is an mistake, but when I asked, I was told this is how they do it. Big disappointment!

I got the feeling this chap has not been here long but is doing a great job. All food looked nice .Polyanthus plants in window boxes each side of the door and seemed recently painted in a hue of subtle colours. Ie not too bright. If feeling like a break worth a stop. Feels out in the middle of nowhere between Whakatane and Opotiki.

I am absolutely disgusted in the service my mother was given tonight, she ordered and paid for our food (via eftpos) and asked that our fish and mussels could be drained a little better as last time all the batter stuck to the paper and pulled off the food, we also asked if our chips could stay down another min to brown a bit more as they were slightly raw last time,5 mins later the cook comes to the counter slams some money on it and states “Beep beep beep beep M****T YOUR TRESSPASSED” all for asking for our food to be cooked a bit better! We live just up the road but thanks for that the Waimana store where all the people are amazing will get all our service from now on!Funny how the owner keeps flagging my review trying to get it removed! I will keep posting as it’s the truth! And deserves to be shared!
