This was a beautiful place to have a walk. I visited back in the winter of 2018 and loved it so much. Very clean and we'll maintain.

Very beautiful small pond near the winter gardens. The ducks roaming around are a nice sight. Very engaging for the little kids too. The pond is clean and well maintained at regular intervals. Nice place to have a quick break under the tall shadowy trees on a sunny day. Well recommended.

Auckland Domain Duck Pond
Quite a nice duck pond that is close to the Wintergardens. The Wintergarden cafe is also close by. The area has lots of ducks and geese wandering around. There is also a fountain which is usually on. There is plenty of seating around the pond so you can just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is a cactus garden on one end which looks quite nice, capping the pond from the grassy area.

Auckland Domain Duck Pond
Photographing the Duck Pond is very memorable. This pond is Auckland's historical landmark. Somehow, preserving the naturalisation of the pond is critical when it comes to taking care of nature for Auckland. I wish we Aucklanders can keep the quality of NZ's public landmark. Therefore, many examples can be presented to the world outside The Duck Pond.
