Highly recommend Alpine Auto Centre. Very friendly and accommodating. We were travelling around South Island from the North Island when our car decided to spring a leak in the radiator pipes. After asking around at a couple of other garages, they fitted us in. They offered us a loan car to get lunch and after just a short time we were back on the road. Massive thanks to them all. Very impressed with the overall service.

Nick in parts is a legend. Radiator on the car broke over the weekend. Gave him a ring Monday morning, he gave me a great price and had it in the shop next day by noon. Cheers Nick!

Worst experience of a mechanic I had in New Zealand so far. After promising me it would be repaired after the weekend, I waited till Thursday until I received an answer on my calls, telling me they won’t have time for me this week. Multiple empty promises and the owner shouted at me when I went to the shop for updated. Immediately got my car out of that place. STAY AWAY

Receptionist was rude. On more than one occasion, (came in before Xmas and got yelled at from a distance and told to come back next year and laughed out of there)On this occasion she told me to come in to talk to the mechanic, so I came in, the mechanic said he couldn’t take any customers - which is fair enough. But her incompetence could have saved a 30 km trip for what was a 2 min conversation when I got there.

A great genuine garage that actually wants to help you rather than take you for a ride. Not only is the service great and the staff friendly, but if you book your vehicle in they get the work done on time and your truck is often back with you the same day. I've had many experiences with Alpine Auto and always been impressed. Thanks team!

I have all my vehicle work done here for the last 8 years, and they have covered most of it on my landcruiser now as it is getting on. Great service and staff. They do a great job and Nick is great at sourcing parts. Deb is really lovely in the office, Tom helpful and a long time local Boss Dean is great aswell.
