Carter's Tyre Service - Christchurch

Took a mates car here recently after hearing so much good stuff about them, so I recommend he went there, he paid $90 for his alignment which I would normally think is a fair price expect when he picked it up they didn't give him a print out of what adjustments they'd made which is annoying because you'd like to know why you spent the money plus they hadn't put any sticker on his windscreen indicating it'd be done. All they have him was a receipt. Then to add to all that when I looked at it trying to work out what they'd changed I could clearly see his camber and toe was different on his 2 rear wheels, so I'm not even sure they did anything at all. I definitely won't be taking any of my cars there in the future unfortunately

“Couldn't be less interested in customers”I read all the comments and find the one got most likes and the same feeling I got.The front desk gentalamn has very dirty face no smile at all,he did not even want to look at me.he may be not a bad person but horrible for sure as a front desk staff or owner?The young man who did tyres change job for me is nice,that is reason 2 stars otherwise zero star if I could give

They did not put the spare back where it belongs

Have been here a couple times now, always friendly and helpful and well priced, definitely recommend this place, the last time I visited they repaired my father's puncture while we waited and was the cheapest I've encountered yet.

I went here for an alignment after seeing the rating they have. Terrible service, after doing the first alignment they didnt give me a print out. Had to go back for a 2nd alignment on the same day after testing the car, the person said my car is just like this and the alignment is correct. In the end he fixed it a little bit, but still terrible alignment, had to go somewhere else and pay again. Would not recommend this place.

This team was amazing. I turned up. They were at my car before I stopped the engine. I was asked to park my commercial vehicle in the repair area. And Buda bing, buda bag. Repaired.Top service. Super friendly.Big ups to the weekend team

I take my large Iveco Van here check tire pressure and fitness of my tread.. as have Duals on the back the inner tire hard get too.. friendly staff more happy help.. And Surprisingly not chagrin on inspection great service will be returning need tires

Worked with this branch over a number of years in a commercial setting. The worst service. Staff are disinterested and disorganised. Asked them to fix a machine with two flat dual tyres once. They fixed the outside tyre but didn’t see the flat tyre right next to it even though it was off the rim. They would go to our yard in the middle of winter and check all the tyres (even though it was dark) and then drive out of the yard. If we later found a flat tyre (at say 7:30) they would charge a call out fee to come back. Staff were very reluctant to help us after 4pm although they were contracted to an after hours service. Even if we were stranded. Suggested we drag a trailer back to our yard once with a blown out tyre so they didn’t have to fix it that night (1-2 kilometres from our yard, only a single axle trailer). Always pushed us to buy new tyres, always some reason that punctured tyres couldn’t be repaired. Overall very difficult and frustrating to deal with. Wouldn’t recommend.
