the most delicious pies and sausage rolls! i usually dont like cheese in pies but the beef and cheese pie is by far my favorite! wont get a pie or sausage roll anywhere else now! also got a cheese burger as part of their burger bar pop up" night and the burger was sooo good

Trust me when I say you haven't had a good pie until you have had a Backyard Pie! Pastry is flakey golden goodness and the fillings are REAL MEAT! Chicken pies are outstanding and the Bacon and egg classic is my fav! Sandwiches are also off the chart good!

Backyard Eatery is a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious pies and great customer service. The pies were absolutely delicious, with flaky crusts and perfectly cooked fillings that left me wanting more. But what really stood out to me was the excellent customer service - the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Backyard Eatery and can't wait to go back!

Awesome!! Everyone at the table was content! I devoured a Blue Lady Toastie, as they are part of the “The great NZ Toastie takeover!” A steady flow of people the entire time we were there! Have to recommend this gem spot in Te Aroha. “Took Pies home for a easy peasy tasty dinner”

Good sausage roll. Stopped here for a pre dinner snack. I wished they told us about Lemon & Te Aroha as I would have loved to hear about it. We were obviously travelers. Instead I had to buy and try it in Matamata
