Nice paved cycle way, which is easy for kids. It has nice scenery to look as as well. Overall a good cycle way.

Great track. Undulating and winding which made it interesting. Busy too with friendly people either walking or riding. Be wary of blind bends though, some people come round corners very fast, and on the wrong side of the path....

Great bike and walking track but extremely dangerous crossing at Poplar Ave. with no crosswalk, tricky intersection, and a blind corner. The locals are all surprised council has not addressed this issue. Please be very careful, especially with young children.

formed, metal track; undulating, easy to walk or cycle. Mostly sheltered as it winds thru the old sand dunes.

Nice riding and not too steep. Good for the whole family and younger children to ride.

Family friendly. Mostly well sign-posted (a couple of junctions need guesswork), but cycling next to the ocean you can’t really get lost.

Excellent cycling track that goes for a good distance. We rode from Paekakariki through to Otaki which was a good hike. Tracks are well looked after and the bridge under passes are clearly sign posted, safe and easy to navigate. Tracks are easy and well suited to all ages and skills. Not really hard core but more of a flat easy ride.

Family friendly and fairly boring for riders, but it's intended for getting from Paikak to Raumati.
