Found what I wanted without the help of the deaf and confused person who was packing the shelf ...an advet for a Laser measure revealed that such a brand was not even in store ...?? Why put the special offer up then .Oh well saved me $140 ..bought batteries for my old one .

Depressingly quiet, staff on the day I visited (weekend) had poor knowledge of expensive product I wanted to purchase, and were little use in helping finding information I requested. It seems this is where Bunnings older staff go to die.

Very average experience today. Given the Covid code red. Was very uptight and hard to get service. I run and manage a shop myself, I wouldn't treat people coldly, even given the situation. General experience gets a meh" because that's how much service I got in literally that time frame. Obviously don't want or need customers. Meh"

This PlaceMakers is rather hidden away and is no longer open on Sundays because of this I find it not that useful for me as a DIYer with only a weekend available. I can only assume they are now catering for trade only.

Not a huge selection and no one to help advise. It seems to.be set up more for tradies. Their points scheme allows them to charge clients the bill and collect 10% later for themselves. I may be wrong.

Always a great helpful team. Access for cars is good, it's a tight street for trucks. Note TRUCKS DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRAILER DOWN TO THIS LOCATION EVER.

Ordered online and paid. Waited forever for any staff when arrived. Then they said I hadn't paid because it went to a cashec" account. They needed some kind of manager approval to even let me take the item. Totally disorganised."

If it’s customer service you’re after then go to Mitre10, it’s awful here. Staff wait around doing their own thing, and the older ones seem annoyed you’re even there.I assume they get most of their money off builders orders in timber and the tools section is just a side convenience for that, as it’s certainly not their focus.However if you’re a builder, know what you want, and want predominantly quality tools builders would use then Placcies is fine.

Fantastic customer service. Small shop which I prefer. I can get around it a lot quicker. I don't want to walk up and down endless aisles past things that I don't want. Shop is clean and tidy. Limited parking but spaces were available on each occasion that I have visited. I highly recommend this store.
