Had the best experience with this studio! I visited Auckland and wanted a little custom Kiwi bird tattoo. They were very responsive and helpful and worked around my tight budget. Quentin was extremely kind and professional, he made sure I was comfortable and the tattoo looked the way I wanted! I will come back next time I’m visiting Auckland. Thank you! :)

Me and my girlfriend are thinking about getting a couple tattoo themed Red Dead Redemption 2 for a long time. Dreamhands staff and Quentin definitely made my dream come true! I can’t say enough about how much Quentin has helped me redesign and elaborate my tattoo. We’re worried that the original design would be too complex to tattoo, but Quentin kindly put my mind to ease. He surprisingly knows well about the game and offers to make it more detailed and specific based on the tones of the game. The whole consultation he’s been committed, communicating and listening to my thoughts. To be honest I knew tattoo artists who promised their customers everything but the outcome is hardly satisfying. However this guy he got both extraordinary professional attitude and talented skills. We chatted during the tattooing on and off and he has such great personality to work with! I’ve had around 10 hours there and the staff are also warm-hearted and helpful, keeping checking on my status and feelings. Most importantly, the outcome is way beyond my expectations. I’d say I pay a fair price to get a masterpiece. If you have some really complicated thoughts in your mind, don’t hesitate to walk in and ask them. Ivy would answer all your questions nicely, and other artists also got their unique styles for you to choose. These guys are magicians, PERIOD.

I had my first tattoo done here today by Quentin. I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. He was friendly, light-hearted, accomodating and understanding. The atmosphere at the shop is so calm and you instantly feel welcomed. He explained everything very well and we chatted away the whole time he was tattooing. Making the time go by so quickly. I highly, highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to get my tattoos from him in the future!

We walked in to Dreamhands for a last-minute honeymoon tattoo and the staff there was super accommodating. We couldn't find exactly what we wanted from the Flash board so they allowed us to google the design we wanted, no problems. The whole process took less than 45 minutes and was a very reasonable price, and we each left with a very special ink keepsake of our time in NZ! I would recommend. Cash only.

I have come to Dreamhands for a couple of smaller pieces as the prices were reasonable. The service was fast and quality of the tattoos are decent. The recent piece I received was (clearly) religious, I did not appreciate the inappropriate comments made by the tattooist while he was tattooing me. The comments were made as he was talking to his peers during the time my tattoo was being done. There is a lack of professionalism when the artists are talking to each other in-front of clients. My last experience at Dreamhands has left me upset and I will not be going back ever again.
