Two Good Guys All Day Eatery
Went out for dinner with the family and decided to support the new local. It was well worth it and we’ll most certainly be back. The food was absolutely divine. The menu was full of great options which made it difficult to pick what to eat. I eventually settled on the lamb shoulder, as did 4 of us, and we’re so happy we did. It melted in our mouths and was well portioned for what was a very reasonable price. A couple of others on our table ordered the beef cheek and they were equally impressed. I’ll be back very soon to try the rest of the menu. Shows that you don’t have to drive far to get a classy feed out west.

I think I came in with massively high expectations because people on the gleneden community page were raving about it. Maybe I wouldve enjoyed it more if I hadn’t seen the reviews. I don’t know. I like to think I have experienced tastebuds.Here’s my experience, take it for what it’s worth:Came to this restaurant years ago when it was named something else. It was a very mediocre experience at the time.However, they have upgraded everything here massively and I’m happy to see it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean. Had nice indoor/outdoor choices for seating. It was pretty busy too I’d say about 80% full (went in at 11am on a Sunday). I ordered the beef burger. It was above average but the patty was a bit undercooked (for me). You can actually tell in my picture because the patty doesn’t look that grilled and the cheese hasn’t melted at all and was hard(you can see the corner of it between the bacon and the bun in my picture). Maybe that’s fine for some people but I usually like my cheese melted in a burger.Might have been due to how busy it was. Everything else was all good though. $25 for the beef burger. The price is ok. Definitely think you get a better deal at rosier burgers price and taste wise but may not be a fair comparison as they specialise in burgers.It’s definitely a decent bite in Glen Eden - where fine dining restaurants tend to be lacking.I’ll come back once more to try one of the breakfasts just to make sure I didn’t catch them on a bad day or something.If you’re wondering whether to try; give it a go. I don’t know about ordering the beef burger maybe try something else on the menu. It’s a pretty safe bet if you want to try somewhere new to eat though!*EDIT* Came back to try dinner instead. Had the ‘cut of the day’. Essentially medium rare steak and veges. It was good! Wait time was a bit longer tonight and they forgot our order of fries (but that was ok because didn’t get charged for them and it was probably God telling me to lay off). Deserves the upgrade from my previous 4 stars to 5.

I love a business with integrity and passion. My partner and I visited on a super busy Sunday late-morning, right as just about everyone else in Glen Eden decided to visit. They were understandably slammed with orders and, with the business still being quite new, they struggled to keep up a bit.However, they were really honest about it. When we showed up they told us how long the wait was, and the whole time they continued to be honest, keep us up to date and really just made sure we never felt like we were forgotten.All the staff were apologetic for the wait, but honestly you're all doing a great job and a cafe like this is so desperately needed in Glen Eden.This was my second visit and both times the food has been phenomenal. I've tried the halloumi bruschetta and the hash benedict. Portions are generous, food is perfectly cooked, and all the flavours are spot on. The coffee is excellent. My partner loved the hangover breakfast on our previous visit.The fitout is also fantastic, with a really comfortable feeling, great outdoor space and decent tables & chairs. Love to see a dog-friendly cafe!I'm honestly so happy to have Two Good Guys in Glen Eden, the service and the food is really worth raving about, and I'm looking forward to returning in future. :)

Finally decadent eatery in Glen Eden! Absolutely AMAZING service and food made by a chef who have passion for great food. Beautiful courtyard with massive tree and wall covered with greenery. Tranquil. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Had a lovely lunch here with two friends. We were all impressed with the taste, presentation and size of the portions. As described on the menu and our waitress was happy to explain specifics.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. Coffee came a bit cold and one of the toasted bread was too hard to cut through, but they fixed it on request. Would visit again!

Fantastic place to eat. The staff is extremely accommodating and switched the outside heater on when I arrived on a frosty morning. This is one of my favourite cafes and there is cabinet food available as well as off the menu. I have been here twice now since it recently opened. Once for breakfast and once for brunch. Both times were enjoyable experiences and I will be back again even though I do not live locally. Highly recommended.

We'd heard some good things about this new local restaurant out West. Sadly, the food was disappointing. Everything looked pretty but the dishes simply didn't deliver on taste or quality. The calamari was very ordinary and the serving was small for the price. The lamb shoulder was cooked beautifully but was so ridiculously sweet that there were no savoury notes at all. In fact it was so sweet that it almost felt like I was eating a dessert. My daughter had the beef burger and this also was disappointing. The pattie was full of breadcrumbs and fillers and tasted more like sausage than an all beef pattie. If you're going to sell a beef burger at a premium price then it needs to deliver on the juicy, beefy notes - and this simply didn't. My wife had the chicken burger and this was very well cooked, crispy and tasty. Both burgers were overly tall though and had to be eaten with a knife and fork. You should be able to eat a burger with your hands and get all the flavours into your mouth at once for a perfect burger bite.While the service, decor, and atmosphere were all nice you ultimately go to a restaurant for the food and 'Two Good Guys' was just very average.
