I have consulted Sharon for various issues in the past including my recovery journey from a broken heel bone. I have benefited greatly from her knowledge, wisdom, and skills over the past 20 years, for which I’m very grateful!Using a recent wrist injury as an example, Sharon’s approach is very thorough. I felt she took the time to understand my health concerns at a deep level, especially how they impacted on my daily life. She then applied her expertise and designed a specific programme of exercises that supported me in my healing journey. Sharon brings compassion, gentleness, and sensitivity to her teaching, and this is hugely helpful. She is continually developing her knowledge and exploring and expanding her practice and service delivery, often sharing inspirational ideas that bring a sense of peacefulness to challenging health issues. In my experience, Sharon is a very reflective and thoughtful practitioner who pays exceptional attention to detail and is particularly skilled in creating individualised programmes that support health, and that are manageable and realistic in a daily life context.The Move Well book has been very useful as a one-stop reference book for my self practice, and as a way of reviewing the key points in a given exercise that I am familiar with, but need to revisit. It has been helpful in extending my self practice in areas that I may have neglected, especially around postural guidelines. It is clearly and simply laid out and very accessible, with helpful and instructive images. I like the division into the three sections of strength, stretch, and posture – I can choose which one of these I want to focus on and find a helpful exercise to address my current concerns. The tips and guidelines section is also very helpful, concise yet illuminating.

In one-on-one sessions, Sharon has helped me with injuries, including a prolapsed lumbar disc and associated sciatica, RSI and a workplace set-up, and neck pain, again as a result of a slipped disc. With a sharp ability to see postural problems and targeted gentle exercises to address them, Sharon has helped with these painful conditions as no one else has been able to. Her feedback is kind and supportive. Most recently, Sharon used photographs of my posture to help me see how I could be contributing to my neck pain. Simple postural adjustments have made a tremendous difference and averted surgery. I cannot recommend one-to-one sessions with Sharon highly enough.

Sharon and Suzanne have created a great resource in Move Well". This booklet is easy to follow and well illustrated with clear details to guide you through each exercise. Its aim - to help us move well in our daily lives. Sharon uses many of these exercises in her teaching and I've benefited tremendously. My back is stronger
