$6 for a basic steak and cheese pie!Mushy, small, 75% corn flour, falls to pieces in your hands.Kind of insulting to customers to be honest.Quality has dropped way off, price has gone way up.Staff could learn some customer service too. Smiling and being polite costs nothing. They look miserable. It's quite off putting.Don't bother.

Despite ingredients lists being on their GF foods, and a number of them not listing dairy, when I asked which items were dairy free I was told that nothing they offer is dairy free. When I asked if the posted lingredients lists were wrong, the staff only repeated what they said and made no further effort to help. Completely unhelpful and really awful to deal with.

If the price of beef is high these days either raise the price of the steak and cheese pie or stop selling them. Selling a pie labelled steak and cheese with only a tablespoon of beef is deceitful.The potato top pie was overly cooked on top a little stale (chewy). It had a decent curry flavor. The mince and cheese was your typical, not too bad and edible mince and cheese. Couldn't spot the cheese though!? The butter chicken had that nice fruity curry flavor but again, standard to small portions of meat and the pastry was a little stale.Their pies wouldn't compete with the best but at least they weren't too old, under or over heated or grisly. Their pastry was standard if not crunchy but a little too chewy.

Been going here 9years now, but the prices are going up and won't come down again, but still the same very nice food

I really like the food here but there's 2 lady's that work here that could use some customer service training or just simply learn how to smile once in a while. I always feel anxious looking at the food like I have to hurry up and buy something :/

Consistently good food, terrible customer service. If you are that unhappy at your job, find a new one. Would be a 4 out of 5 if friendlier.

Pies are disappointing. Who only has a curry potato top pie! The sweet things were ok and bread fine.

This bakery has been making the best Sausage rolls and chocolate eclairs for years

I can put up with some of the sour faced staff when I get a good pie. I haven't been in a few months, but no joke one measly bit of steak in the steak and cheese pie is a rip. $17 for a pie, a savory which was dried up and a cream bun. Get real

It's such a shame. This used to be the go to bakery in Dunedin for many years, people would come from all over town for their food. The customer service has always been bad, it was almost kind of expected there would be a grouchy woman behind the counter, that can be excused. What cannot be excused is the quality dropping significantly, while the price is raised. Do one or the other, but not both. People come here for the quality we knew and loved, change the quality and people will stop coming, plain and simple. I suggest you change your ways, or you will get a bad reputation that will be irreversible
