If you want fresh fish that matches the species you ordered, go to seaview fish and chips. .ordered gurnard, paid $6.50, got thin bit of old shark Chips ok though

Ordered for the first time in a few years. Value for money. Chicken was devine. Fish bites were on. Chips were good kids are fish and hot dogs must have been good cause they're all gone. Haven't tried nasi goreng yet but looks good

Found this place expensive overall. $67 for free sh n chips 2 burgers and 3 shakes..... The shakes are great though

Good food, but the guys working there were arguing with each other which is probably how we ended up with 1 scoop of chips instead of 3 that we paid for. Too late once on beach. Check before leaving if you've made a family size order.

We got the super-deal, it was $35 and plenty of Kai to feed 6 people and have leftovers. Great option for lunch/dins at beachMy brothers got Chinese meals - fried rice and beef black bean sauce. Both were tasty and fresh.

Easily the best fish and chips I have found in Christchurch!!Generous portions super friendly staff and the fish is just absolutely incredible in both quality and taste. I travel in from Burwood and pass about 10 other fish and chip stores.
