We brought one of the ube flan cake for a birthday. The cake itself was quite large with two layers of cake under the layer of leche flan. The ube part of the cake was a more blue than purple and didn't have a strong ube flavour to it. The flan on top was really nice. I did enjoy the cake even with the lack of ube flavour. They do delivery for 1$ per km if you didn't want to pick up from Karaka.

I ordered this cake for my daughter’s birthday. Loved the Ube cake very unique with the flan at the top. The cream cheese icing has just the right amount of sweetness.Unfortunately it was a very hot day when I collected the cake so even with the car airconditioning running the cream filling melted a bit when I got home. So as with any cake when travelling just make sure to keep it in a cool place to keep the design in good shape. The heat didn’t affect the taste I just quickly popped it in the fridge to hold its shape again.
