Rip off pricing for what you get. Ordered $10 worth of chips which felt like $5, should have looked at the other reviews outlining this before ordering.

Great Chinese food, generous portions including meat & veg to rice ratio in their combination meats fried rice, and they aren't kidding about the spicy chicken, it's hot! Tasty too. No wonder they're busy, recommended.

It was a good shop until the new owners came along and decided they will rip everybody with there really small portions, expensive ! Stay away!!!

Good chips, worst burger I've ever had from a takeaway store. Everything about it was bad including the price. The messily piece of chicken was laughable. Won't be back again.

The new owners have been there for about a year now and not as generous as Cheryl and Alan (previous owners). Infact the food has gotten worse. The chips were over cooked and the fish is frozen with thick oily batter rather then fresh fish with thin and crispy batter. The older lady is ok but their daughter is a rude brat! Ive been served by both few times now and will not be going ther anytime soon...Kupe Street Takeaway (Golden Swallow) is not the same. It shows A class certified but in my opinion the quality of food is C quality and expect A class prices and give very little in return. Very dissapointingTo all our locals if you want fresh fish and lots of chips go to Kohi Fresh Fish Takeaways. The service there is great, prices are less (then Kupe) and food menu is really good #Always busy. You will not be dissappointed

Disgusting!! Spend $70 & fish n chips was so bad!! Doesn’t even taste like fish we couldn’t even finish it ended up chucking it in the bin!

Very small portions, fish in particular very disappointing in regards to size. Chips are tasty but two scoops looked like one.Prices online don’t reflect prices in store.Store is clean.

Food is tasty, thin batter, 5+ on the oysters. This place has food thats filled with love, I'd go back without a doubt
