I paid for a board in early Oct to ensure it was here for my son's birthday in early Dec. On arrival the board was charged and immediately smelt like an electrical fire. I called the number provided on the website and emailed multiple times with no responce. It took 2 weeks to get them to agree to take it back and assess" it. I had to send photos even though I said the issue was a "smell".I was always the one initiating contact. After another week they told me the battery was swollen from us over charging it (not possible as it wasn't on charge long enough before it started smelling) and stated they would send a new replacement.The board arrived and it was the same one. My son's birthday came around and he's tried it out and it goes flat after 5/10min.Again I've called and called and sent email after email to find a resolution.They agreed to me dropping it back at the store in Auckland and to pay me a refund. When i arrived the women said this is the only board we've had issues with but couldn't seem to remember any of our calls or emails.I also purchased the Segway (so all up $429) which is good but doesn't come with any instructions how to ensemble.If your looking for a reliable board

Hoverboard worked fine up until we had to charge it and it wouldnt charge. As under warranty, I Filed in Contact Form and rang them a few times with no answer for the last week. Fearing if they ever did get back to me that once I send the board back I probably would never see it again if their Service dept is as bad as their Customer Service Dept. I got it fixed elsewhere at my expense. The actual hoverboard was wired wrong! Hoverboard fixed and now working.

Customer service is rubbish. Products are great first the first week then over heat and don’t work correctly total waste of $450 bucks. Have 1 gutted child that her birthday present doesn’t work after a week. Wouldn’t recommend this company at all.

Hoverboard didn't work from the moment it was opened, massive issues returning product, wouldnt provide free return even though stated on website for dead on arrival products returns were free, customer service non existent. Buyer beware.

My daughter up for an hooverboard that only after a month the wheel broke. Now Hooverboard NZ are not retuning our calls or emails. Absolutely appalling service and no care whatsoever.

We brought two hoverboards during Black Friday specials for Christmas giftsCome Christmas one was working and one wasn’t, so the next day and everyday after that I have been trying to get in touch with someone to fix it. No response… after Christmas the website claims they were open so we drove all the way there for them to be closed, have sent emails and VM to this shop… they said they will be open on the 15th of January and still closed.I have one unhappy little girl ☹️

Do not purchase . Rubbish product and do not respond to emails. Have taken phone number off website so you can’t call them. Scammers

Utterly terrible company - and I use that word lightly. I would not recommend this pathetic company to anyone.Purchased my daughter a hoverboard for Xmas. After an hour of use, board would not work/charge! Utterly disgraceful customer service!After reading other reviews it seems I’m not the only one! Disappointed beyond words.

Terrible customer service!! Board worked fine then wouldn't charge. Returned and they sent it back saying it was fixed but same issue. Then they said they would send a new one but nothing arrived and now they won't reply to my emails. Liars and rip off company!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
