Vivo Hair Salon Manukau Mall (has moved! Please visit us on lvl 1 of the Manukau Mall ! )

Bethany and the team at lower level Manukau mall should be commended! They are so friendly welcoming and professional.I came in for Bethany to fix a botched dye job ( that was done by another Vivo salon ) and all I can say is wow!! Bethany is one of the most pleasant, most knowledgeable hairdressers I have come across . Her communication was fantastic and she told me my best option to fix the bad dye job and what colours etc to avoid in the future as my hair is now layered with colours.I am more than happy with how my hair turned out, as prior to it getting re done by Bethany I was really Embarrassed with how awful my hair looked due to terrible hair dye job done from other Vivo salon .This Manukau lower level salon is an absolute credit to Vivo and has restored my faith in the Vivo brand .I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely salon to othersThanks so much Bethany and team !

Bit disappointed in all fairness. Had a consultation done and all was great, called back to book in with the same lady which was confirmed.I had rung up the day of my appointment to inform them I was running 10mins behind- they were happy to push my appointment back which was great. When I arrived, I couldn't see the stylist I was meant to be booked in with anywhere in the salon- I genuinely thought she might still be on break so waited patiently as you do.Another lovely lady came to me and asked what I wanted done today, so I explained to her that I'm actually meant to be booked in with Kayla, who I found out had taken the day off so I said I was happy for her to do my hair. ( just wanted my hair done as I was waiting the entire week for this moment).The hairdresser who I was booked in with, told me that it was best to see Kayla for what I was after because she did my consultation and strand test and I was told it would be best to rebook my appointment.This is the disappointing part.. I had booked over a week ago for a color and cut to arrive and find out that the person who I spoke to booked me in with the wrong stylist? Also, that I needed to reschedule my appointment cause Kayla wasn't in.I had driven 45mins to my appointment today to found out that I was booked in with the wrong stylist, and I couldn't get my hair done today (which I had to take Wednesday off from work as I was advised when I rung that Kayla was only available next on Wednesday) only to be told that I need to reschedule...I'm really disappointed this has happened, and this is 100% not the stylist I ended up being booked in with fault as she was really lovely but how do you mix up an appointment when both ladies are different and it's a small salon? I was even SUPER detailed when I called to make my appointment.I never got a phone call to inform me she's taken the day off, even when I informed them I was running late. I actually needed to take the time off work today so I could be booked in with Kayla only to be told she's not there on arrival.I understand mistakes happen, but please be more organized in future with your clients as I've lost pay on a day I could've worked, wasted 90mins driving to the salon and back home to find out I can't get my hair done on time for my anniversary which is upsetting..

First time with Vivo and I would highly recommend this salon to everyone!! Keenan was amazing and my highlights turned out great!! Love my new look and will be back again. Special mention to Sydney or Syd, she was so friendly and made sure I was well looked after. Keep it up team

I just had the best hairdressing experience in my whole life at Vivo upstairs in Westfield Manukau.Teresa has exceptional customer service and the whole time I felt she was going to do the best for me and what I wanted.I highly recommend you to try her for your next cut or colour.

Amazing service from vivo tonight! Squeezed me in at 5.30 and spent over 3 hours working in my hair! They did a phenomenal job which I expected, having been to vivo before, but Bethany in particular was doing a great job overseeing what everyone was doing! Her level of customer care was carried out throughout the whole team, I was the last one in the salon but I didnt feel like they were rushing or trying to push me out the door! Will definitely be going back!

My hair was totally botched, a day before seeing my kids again after 2 5 years I was devastated wrong colour used, hair cut way too short and I left in tears. They gave me various products to use to repair all the damage and to get it to grow back faster. Supervisor got involved and offered 2 treatment follow ups.As a woman, we all take pride in our hair and when you spend almost $300 on a special treat for yourself, you expect to feel like a beauty queen after the fact. This was not the case at all. I went for the follow ups, the supervisor was great, however I had lost all confidence in their services. I lost confidence in myself, was traumatized and my emotional state was deeply affected. I dreaded the reunion with my daughters. Their first look at me, was that I needed a make-over. Unfortunately my hair was not long enough to even attempt a fix.Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, especially when it comes to our hair, but in this case, I will never go to VIVO again, EVER!!!!!Probably the most traumatic thing I had experienced in New Zealand.

Had my hair cut and coloured a week before my wedding and let the hairdresser know. Cut was fine, colour was okay but they let me walk out of the salon with dye all over my neck. Didn't notice 'til I got home and rang back to ask them to help fix it. They were quite casual and said I could scrub it and it would wear off before my big day so I insisted they fix it as I was wearing my hair up. They agreed to fix it and used something to remove the colour from my neck. Will not go back to any Vivo salons ever.
