Good service and a shop full of items and tools for decorating.The paint area and curtains railings and wallpapers cover a large area. Rugs, cushions and carpet are also sold.Curtains are made for free with fabric purchased at the shop.The shop was once the Post Office so is large .The people are very helpful with lots if good advice without pushing sales.Recommend.

I hired a wallpaper steamer from Guthrie Bowron Motueka. All interactions from initial phone call to pickup and return were friendly and professional. The store is very well stocked with everything you need for home decorating (plus all the tools and things you need for preparation) whether it's paint and wallpaper, all types of floorings, drapes and blinds. The team is really knowledgeable and helpful. You can see why this multi-generational business has such loyal customers. I highly recommend.

Guthrie Bowron in Motueka are excellent in colour matching a paint sample you take in . Leave it for a day or two . They give you a call and job well done. Now we can paint our damaged wall without doing the whole house.!!

This is the place to go for truly personal, local, experienced advice. This team have been absolutely wonderful helping us in our renovations for our NZ location, and we are so impressed with the care and service they offer. Not only will they greet you like an old friend, they have years and years of local knowledge: what works in the climate, what is popular, what is not worth investing in, what local tastes are and where you can save.We could spend hours in this store!

Always very helpful and with lots of knowledge even if they where a little more expensive which they are not as you get what you pay for with paint I would still go there. And always happy to put things right if anything ever goes wrong. Well done team a big part on the back and maybe a smoko shout from time to time from willie.
