The best pub/restaurant in town. Friendly service. Families welcome.. the food is amazing and you feel so at home. Would recommend to anyone that wants a good feed a drink or even a night out.

Atmosphere was great, good weekly food specials. Had a pizza for dinner which was pretty average unfortunately, base was burnt and the whole thing was pretty tasteless. Would go back again though, just for the cool atmosphere, nice staff and great layout.

This is a pretty cozy Irish Pub. The drink selection for beers and whiskeys is decent. The cocktails on the menu don't seem to fit the vibe of an Irish pub however. Food on the menu is pretty good pub food, but the pizzas were on the average end. I was impressed with how quickly food came out.

Mondays are $20 for an entire whole rack of bbq ribs on top of a mount of fat fries. Chips. Sorry. Chips. They give you bowls of water and lemon to wash your fingers too. I love NZ.

Staying in Tauranga for a holiday this week and we had the chance to visit quite a few food hospo places. I have to say I was very impressed with the Tuesday special at Mount Mellicks. There is a special everyday on the menu which I think is a great promotional idea. Always gets the Punters in the door. The food that we received was great with good presentation and the service was excellent. I would happily recommend this pub for a drink and a good feed if you are in the area.

Loved the bar, it was good to have an Irish bar and just chill. We went in between lunch and dinner at 4pm so the kitchen was closed but there was still some finger foods to nibble on while having a drink with friends ^^

The food is great but the service is awful. 40 minute wait, no one around. We were handed garlic bread that we didn't order, followed by a second bowl of wings that we already ordered and had on our table, mushroom sauce was forgotten about with our chips and finally a chicken bacon burger was brought over when we ordered a chicken bacon pizza. Nothing was done about the bill despite being asked to eat the burger we didn't order because apparently there was no pizza that day. This is the second time we have been here and it wasn't any different - it was mess ups of steaks and sides the first time. Maybe the staff do it on purpose to get fed for free cause they all seemed to be enjoying eating the left over food from mistaken orders. Go here for a beer, just keep in mind with the cheap daily food specials comes real average service and the likely won't get your order right the first, second or third times.
