Highly recommend Zen hair. Fantastic at listening to client needs and wants. Nothing is ever an issue. Love my experiences at Zen. You feel welcomed, comfortable and listened too. High quality service, products and facilities. People comment on how amazing my hair looks and I always say go and see the amazing girls at Zen. Even more excited for the future with sustainable salons which means all waste is recycled. Look forward to the future of hair care.

Great service, awesome staff!There’s not a lot of places in Dunedin that can do thick Polynesian hair!Liana & Ashleigh do a wonderful job with my hair. They’re realistic about what will work! My hair was blonde and damaged from previous salons who didn’t do it properly. Liana is an expert with colours so it pays to listen her advice! Place is cosy and cute. Price is reasonable too considering how great the service is. Will always return!

I have been coming to Zen for several years now and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else! Liana consistently meets my expectations and my hair has never been in better condition since coming here. All the stylists are friendly and inviting, the salon itself it beautifully designed, with its very own room for you to chill out while your colour processes. I’ve recommended several of my friends come here and none have been disappointed. One of the best salons in Dunedin with prices comparable to competitors, but the results exceeding expectations!

Absolutely fantastic. Went in not really knowing what I wanted done with my hair but they helped me with styling, cut it and had me back to tidy it up once the hair had settled a week or so later all for a very reasonable cost. 100% recommend!!!

I have been a client at Zen almost since they opened (Saw Liana and Jen at their prev workplace) and have always had the best experiences at Zen. Everyone there is so welcoming and the atmosphere is incredibly warm and earthy. My friend Jen is my hairdresser and I consistently feel listened to and inspired with whatever style I go with! I feel their expertise are beyond words. I couldn’t speak more highly of Zen, and always recommend to my friends & other loved ones. xx

Recently had my hair done by the lovely Ashleigh at Zen Hair and couldn’t be happier! She was extremely thorough, friendly and attentive and created such a beautiful colour for me. The salon also has such a good vibe about it and everyone in there is so lovely and makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. Highly recommend booking in with Ashleigh for your next colour, you won’t regret it!

My first time here and I had the most lush experience. I left the salon feeling so refreshed, especially with being able to go to the lounge upstairs and having lovely chats with Nicole. I was confident she knew exactly what I wanted with my hair and she nailed it. Can’t wait to come back soon enough xx

AMAZING!!! Highly recommend ZEN! Wish I went to ZEN sooner- Haley did such an awesome job with getting my hair to how I wanted it in one sitting, and a fantastic cut!! The team was so helpful - Liana went over and beyond and got me in at very short notice.. 100% Soo happy!

Walking in to Zen is always instant relaxation and calmness. The ladies that work here are always welcoming, kind and non judgemental. Liana does my hair and I can never go to anyone else. She is a visionary and incredible hair dresser who leaves me feeling beautiful and confident walking out the door.
