Skippers Restaurant
I ordered the mince on toast. The mince was nice and flavourful, just the right amount of savoury. The best part for me was that it wasn't drowned in tomato base and it wasn't too rich or greasy. The poached eggs on top were cooked to perfection. The toast was dripping with melted butter and super yummy. I rate the dish 4.5/5 - half a point off for using tomato base, as I prefer my savoury mince simple without it, but that's just my personal preference.

Decided on having lunch here for our anniversary. Food - excellent - meals were tasty and nicely presented. SERVICE - ZERO! why!! - my husband was lined up for service - 3 people arrived behind him, caught the eye of a gentleman behind the service counter and he said clearly to a server - these are my friends, serve them well. The service people, ignored my husband and served them first.Next issue - we chose a sunny table outside - these friends" arrived after we were seated

Great food in a great location to chill out with family and good mates. One of the few restaurants over the Tauranga Harbour. Awesome views and easy parking

Googled site to see times yes open drive out oh no kitchen closed but chef kindly cooked us fish and chips! Very impressed with his kindness well done chef will come again!!

The food was lovely but quite pricey. Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our lunch but the waitress was very apologetic. It's a lovely place to eat with marina views and the food really was very nice. I would still go again
