Z - Five Cross Roads - Service Station

There is always long wait around 10pm till 11pm. The indian lady is working too slow. Would recommend someone to take her place so that the things can go fast. 0 - Stars

My go to place for petrol since it's close to home, good service but sometimes their prices are a punch in the wallet lol

Has diesel and two grades of petrol, on a decent size forecourt. Good range of garage snacks inside. The pies are as good as the BP Wild Bean Cafe pies, but the coffee needs work. They did upgrade my coffee one size, which got the fifth star, only four otherwise. Access is a bit tricky as it is on the corner of a very busy five road roundabout, as the name would suggest.

Got a late night fuel and forgot to get the recipt for our company car, came back two days later and got it, nice and friendly workers and fast 5/5 for sure

It would be a crime for me to fail to give them my full endorsement after the kindness they've shown me while I was at my most vulnerable, on my way home to Auckland after a full on Christian conference in Hamilton.Since I usually go to the Pak'n Save petrol station to save money, I'm used to a certain format on the auto pay machine. Tired and without thinking, the moment the machine asked me to present my EFTPOS card, I did so without hesitation into the slot that looked about the right size. To my embarrassment, it turned out it was where the receipts were meant to come out, not where my EFTPOS card was meant to go in.Moved by the faith given to me by the conference, I immediately went to the front counter to tell the serving ones exactly what had happened. And though they found the situation somewhat beyond belief, to the point of amusement, without hesitation, one lady came to make a full inspection of the situation, carrying tools. When she found out the situation was far more serious than she had anticipated, we looked around for someone to contact for help.I succeeded in using my debit card to refuel my car while she got on the phone to ask for technical advice. I was, at this point, resigned to counting my EFTPOS card as lost, and had already started to make plans to call my bank at the first possible convenience to tell them the embarrassing story and get them to post me a new EFTPOS card.Thankfully, though I had given up hope, the serving lady did not shirk her responsibility, but rather, got all the information she needed, and came out, armed with a large set of keys, knowing only that one of them was supposed to work. Off we went, therefore, to the task of first, finding out where exactly the key was supposed to go, and second, which, of the two sets of keys, was the one designed to do the job. Showing great endurance and perseverance in the face of adversity and set backs, after seemingly having tried every key except the right one, she succeeded in finally opening up the machine. Alas, the way to get to the EFTPOS card, though easier, was still not direct. Back she went to get out her toolkit, she took a screwdriver with a single sharp edge and extracted my EFTPOS card from the machine, doing only minimal damage to the roll of paper from which the receipts were to be printed.No effort on my part to give monetary compensation for her help was accepted. Neither payment nor tips. She insisted it was just all: Part of the service." Can the reader see why

Absolutely horrible customer service!Staff made a mistake by not entering the right amount for a prepay fuel topup. When I went to inform them that my pump was not supposed to put in so much, instead of acknowledging their mistake, they asked me to pay the excess amount. Due to insufficient funds at that moment, I was unable to pay the full amount, and I was told that the manager will handle it. A couple weeks later, I receive a letter in the mail to issue a notice that I have been flagged for not paying for the fuel and will be blocked from all Z stations until I paid the remainder. Even though I have paid the remainder, will not be going to another Z station ever again. Pray that the staff does not make a mistake with your transaction. You might be banned for your mistake!

I love this place! The fact it's accommodating and open 24/7, it's great for people who need that last minute purchase (or midnight snacks). The lady is patient and lovely. Great service. Very easy to find. Make great coffee!!!!!
