Called up for our order of hot chips service was fast and friendly, when i got home with our good sized portion of chips .we were quite upset with the heavy snow like coating of chicken salt . They normaly get it right . So i called up to let them know that the chips were un eatable . To which i got a quite rude response of if you dont like it dont come back". I would have thought an offer of replacement chips would have been on the card . But due to the rudeness and lack of kindness (as there sign out front requests) we will not be returning"

My only request is that the fish need to be drained more, it can be a bit oily which spoils the crispiness of your wonderful batter!!!

After 22 years of living in Kerikeri, I have been to Calypso 5 or 6 times with previous owners. This is the first time I have had fish and chips from there and know that I will go back. Hopefully the quality stays the same and the owners stick around for a while.We had snapper and kumara chips.

Snapper is so fresh, crispy and tasty love it! The girls working there were nice. Place is looking good :)

Delicious scallops, fish, havent worked out the Hot dog has sausage skin still on it, sovwill try the battered sausage. The chips are great. I can't eat that many! Yip, I only get the 1/2 scoop.

Pretty average, chips were over done and expensive. $5 for a scoop which I'm sure online says differently, $2.40 for the tiny little potato fritters. $9 for snapper which I didn't mind cause it was the nicest thing we ordered. Chicken and camembert burger was well below average $14. 2 little crumbed camembert bites in the burger and I wouldn't really call the chicken in the burger a filled. $41 for all that plus 6 onion ring and 5 nuggets. Way over priced and probably the worst fish and chips we've had. Wouldn't go back.Menu online needs updating ASAP

Pretty good cheese burger, but the fish burger had rubbery lemonfish (shark) that made me gag.

Delicious food. I was surprised at how much I got for so little cost . Am definitely going back. Staff were friendly, and atmosphere great. All I ordered was a fish burger and $2.50 chips for lunch. Total was $11. It quite filled me up for rest of day!
