Great coffee, French Toast was beautiful. Super friendly staff. Cool coffee vibe music. Dogs welcome in the outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is under cover.

We had a great end to our charter at the maunga Tongariro crossing brunch at Blue Hill Cafe we surprised other's wanting to dine too .at the cafe as each driver including myself to a 35+ seater buses 3 were parked outside to their great relief we too had our own table top 10/10 definitely recommend going to treat yourself self and friends we will be calling in alot

Surprisingly delicious! Unfortunately there aren't any vegan food options (only vegetarian). There are milk alternatives if you only want coffee which was amazing!

Blue Hill Cafe
I went to Blue Hill Cafe in Owhango, New Zealand today for brunch, and I had a very good big breakfast. The scrambled eggs were incredibly fluffy, and the coffee was delicious. My partner decided to order the chef's special lamb fries, not realizing they were actually lamb testicles. It was quite amusing, to say the least. Despite that, we had a good experience overall. The waiter greeted us with a smile and was very lovely.

The food and the coffee were delicious. Lot of vegetarian option, friendly staff in a cute location. I recommend if you're going around this location !

Great place. Probably the best cafe in the whole National Park area. I haven't tried any full meal but you see fresh stuff displayed, coffee is very nice and slices are yum. Staff friendly and arty welcoming atmosphere. Recommended!

Blue Hill Cafe is a must stop between the Waitomo Caves and Wellington! They offer an All Day Breakfast Menu!!!Lovely cafe supporting local artists’ works from prints to candles. With indoor and outdoor seating, it’s a lovely haven for your road trip!The chai latte hit the spot with delicious notes of cinnamon. The falafel salad was chock full of delicious ingredients with generous portions of falafel and avocado.Veggie Breakfast included a cheese stuffed tomato which highlighted the plate along with large portions of halloumi cheese.Finally treat yourself to a lemonade scone filled with light cream and flavorful, fruity jelly to motivate you for the road ahead. Thank you Blue Hill Cafe for being a beacon for coffee lovers, foodies, and road trippers!
