Penny was our fabulous wedding celebrant and we could not have wished for anyone better. She guided us brilliantly before the ceremony, such that we were superbly ready and relaxed on the day. And then she wove together humour, romance, laughter and tears, creating the perfect ceremony. We loved the whole experience, and our friends and family still talk about how gorgeous the whole event was. Thank you, thank you, thank you Penny. You truly are the best!

Penny was a superb celebrant in every possible way. She understood and perfectly matched the energy, style and flavour of our wedding, of us as individuals and of us as a couple. With a glorious balance of celebration, comedy zingers and heartfelt truth, Penny literally had our guests laughing and crying and laughing again. If you want a wedding that is funky, entertaining and tailored to you then this is your woman.

Wow....Penny was amazing, she officiated our wedding in May and we could not recommend her enough!!!She was super accommodating through all the ups and downs with Covid, along with the multiple date changes we had, Penny approached everything with the calmness that we needed, making the ceremony not only comfortable but meaningful, she brought out plenty of laughter and tears with her unique story telling, and we have had so many comments on how great she was, we cant imagine anyone else doing this for us, and wish her all the best xxx

Penny curated a one of a kind experience for our wedding ceremony. She was very helpful on the day, troubleshooting with us when the weather packed it in just before the ceremony. Many of our guests said it was the most fun wedding ceremony they had ever been to, so funny and unique. I couldn’t recommend Penny enough.

We used Penny Ashton' celebrant services twice to officiate our Civil Union in 2008 and then our Wedding in 2014 (once Marriage Equality became law in Aotearoa / New Zealand).She was absolutely fabulous.
