The Bed Barn

Posting on behalf of my mum - I first bought a bed from The Bed Barn 15 years ago. Was the best bed for comfort I ever had and I always had a great nights sleep. Their beds are made here in Palmerston North and custom made to your comfort levels. I then moved 2 years ago and had to get a smaller bed which also was made to my comfort levels, and I passed my other bed on and it was still in excellent condition, no sagging etc. I then decided a month or so ago I needed it a bit higher so went into The Bed Barn to see if I could have some higher feet and met the new owner Andrei, and seeing the feet that were on my bed were another type and needed different fittings to get higher ones. Andrei was so helpful,that he came around twice,(because I couldn’t make it home in time to meet him the first time we’d arranged )and he drilled the new holes for the new ones and fitted them with no hassles at all. And to top it off he did it for no charge whatsoever. So needless to say I sing my praises for The Bed Barns made to order beds and the before and after service given by Andrei and staff. Amazing!! I can’t speak to highly of Andrei and the Bed Barn Team. From the moment we stepped into The Bed Barn showroom until delivery of our beds Andrei was a pleasure to deal with. He is very knowledgeable about their products and his communication was excellent at all times. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their beds, they are just heavenly to sleep on.

So so happy with Andrei and The Bed Barn. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable that we were in great hands. He gave us time to try each bed we wanted to and we felt no pressure. Right from entering the store we felt welcomed. Andrei was so patient with our kids while they picked their beds and even helped with suggestions to make their beds individual too then with different fabrics. Angie was amazing when organizing the delivery of our beds, as we were moving into a new house so timing was an issue, she was alao super patient and understanding through the whole process. Daniel who delivered our beds after a very long day was a total legend. We found a bed leg missing but that was sorted quickly. We have all slept so well in these beds. These are the best beds we have ever had. They are amazingly comfortable and very well made. So if you want a great bed, made locally with exceptional customer service then buy from The Bed Barn.

My partner and I recently brought a bed from The Bed Barn for our new house. We're extremely happy with it. The process was made very easy by Andrei and the team from purchasing through to delivery. I can honestly say that I haven't had a single bad night's sleep since the purchase and it's one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. If you want to support a small local business please do, we really appreciated the personal touch and great customer service (Andrei even delivered the bed himself)!

I purchased 4 king single Heritage Special beds recently, 2 for our grandsons aged 6&9, and 2 for our own twin guest room. The boys are finding theirs very comfortable. Hubby and I had a great night’s sleep in their beds last weekend!! Bed Barn beds are such excellent value for money being locally made and avoiding those middle man extra costs. When our king bed needs replacing we will absolutely buy from Andrei again. We were incredibly impressed with his knowledge and his warm customer service was second to none! I wholeheartedly recommend the Bed Barn to all!!

Andrei really looked after us from the minute we walked in the door. Exceptionally helpful with showing us how the bed was manufactured and describing the difference between each bed. We are very happy with our choice and decision and have had 2months of restful sleep since delivery. Andrei and his staff were great with delivery and installation in our upstairs bedroom. Just picked up another mattress from The Bed Barn, wouldn't go anywhere else now. In the past I have spent a lot of money trying to find a really comfortable mattress as I have arthritis. The Bed Barn has the most comfortable mattresses I have ever purchased and for a fraction of the cost elsewhere. Made and ready to pick up within 2 weeks, and such amazing service each time. Our new bed is absolutely amazing. Both my wife and I have back and hip injuries and our new bed works wonders. It's so supportive in all the right places while being soft and cozy. We get up in the morning feeling refreshed and pain free. I highly recommend The Bed Barn and their range of New Zealand made beds.
