Stayed here in campervan. Nice Freedom site with clean toilets and showers, you can buy a token for hot water from the local shop nearby.

Showers shares space with toilet. A little awkward. Good Shower though, hot and with good pressure. Time is reasonable but I used two tokens @$3ea. For me just to have a shower available is and feel welcome freedom camping is Awsome!

Great area to park a lovely easy stroll to shops. We didn't stay the night. We used the parking area again a week later so we could go and buy lunch

LuxuryPark in the rite spot, and it's as great as Makatu❗But in totally different ways... No elfresco gym on the beach, but showers and toilets that are virtual works of art‼️ an adjacent (and beautiful) library and gallery.The sidewalk café over the road does a yummy roulade, amongst other delights (that my keto status suggests I should try to avoid)Full marks Kawakawa for this awsum Freedom Camping Spot❣️

Large newly sealed park. New 24m7 toilets & showers. Check out the library with free wifi, and the Hundertwasser art centre/museum.
