Central Park Hamilton

WORST car park. I lost my ticket and there no no signage if who to call so I got stuck inside and had to reverse up the ramp to get back in, walk downstairs and get a new ticket. Then the doors locked on me another time so I was stuck inside and tried to phone the security company but they said they don’t manage this car park anymore. So why is their number all over the building? They said to call Wilson security and I did, but no one answered

Update - a lot of the parks have been leased and are not available to casual visitors. If you aren't in before about 8.40am on weekdays, don't bother.A lot of the top is fully reserved, so there's no point driving up there, but it's not sign posted.Pros. Close to town. Nice and new. Always has space. Good design. Good value.Cons. One of the pay booths doesn't accept debit cards about every second time, but at random. The cost to pay electronically is higher than paying in cash. Given the costs and safety issues around customers carrying cash and staff having to collect it, you'd think it would be the other way around.

It's a great place to park to be near Hamilton CBD. Cheap, but one of the payment machines was not working the day I was there, which caused queuing with a frustrated customer.

This has to be the biggest waste of time, you go into the carpark theres no carparks past level 1 for the public they're all leased out privately. Instead of putting up signage to say there they're leased carparks, don't bother calling or emailing the feedback through (like putting up a dam sign so people know that the other floors are 100% leased out) USE YOUR COMMON SENSE PUT UP SIGNAGE. The customer service girl on the 0800 line has an IQ of about 60 and she speaks like it too if you feel like talking to someone stupid call their 0800 line.

they give you a parking ticket when you’re not even parked there??? If you think I’m giving you $85 you can think again. There can’t be a “breach of contract” because where I was parked, NEXT TO the building, it doesn’t stipulate anywhere that that is part of the building nor did it stipulate you had to pay nor did it even have a payment machine. Hunt me down, good luck.

Ok we had trouble exiting as it wouldn't accept our cards when we tried to pay. However we were assisted and I can't complain because my car was safe. All things went well in the end.

Currently a Student in study, I drive 15 minutes to class 5 days a week while paying for rent, car insurance, food, gas and any other expenses that are required. After paying $7000 for my course I would hope that parking is free.Last year the parking at campus was free for anyone who had purchased a permit to park at the student village I live at, however this year Carepark decided they didnt want to do that anymore and have begun charging people regardless.I am now paying over $20 a week from this park ALONE just so I can go study.On top of this, they demanded that any residents who wanted to park outside of the apartment building in their carpark had to pay over $1000 PER SEMESTER. The apartments manager simply said that wont be happening and cut the residential parking deal off with them.I hate the fact that I now have to pay to go to course, after I paid for my course.I would give a lower rating if I could.

Best hope you don't lose your ticket, or it's $80 to get out. That is if your car isn't smashed up by skaters while you were gone

Very very dissapointed to have attended a friends birthday party had a great night, went to take my friends home as a safe ride home to find that the carpark is not 24 hours on a weekend!!! So at 12.45am my friends and I had to take a taxi to our rural address. F$@king disgusted! I will not use the parking facility again.
