Fabulous friendly service and beautiful food. Love it!

Best fnc in the area (so far!). Battered fillet always fresh and flaky. Chips taste of potatoes, crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Pick up times always accurate and service comes with a smile.

Unfortunately we have had the worse experience ever with the service from the staff especially. We have been regular and loyal customers to them. When we order from here my daughter gets the nasi goreng with chicken only since she doesnt like beef or pork, we specify this every time we go here. And tonight when we got home her order sadly was a combonation, we called and asked for a replacement and we even offered to bring it back but we were told they wont do that and we are to just pick out the other meats, for personal reasons my daughter wont eat the meal because its been cooked in the fats of the beef and pork. They spoke to us rudely and they dont care if we dont return so i would rather spend my money somewhere else where you will be respected as a customer with a legit complaint.

Best chips locally. Everything is very edible. Same ownership for as long as I can remember.

Tavern takeaways is a good fish and chip shop & nice Chinese food.But like everywhere else has become pricey for what use to be cheap takeaways. I think a piece of battered fish from here is a bit small for the price, and a half a scoop of chips is a but stingy too. Half a scoop of chips isn't enough for one person. But overall nice food and friendly owners.
