Smallish, tidy store packed neatly with UK goodies. Friendly helpful staff. Good parking.Edit: just read a review about them having little to no stock following the Covid outbreak. I had had that same experience on my first visit. I'd gone for a specific item. The situation was completely out of their control, and the man explained everything.That's why I went back a couple months later. By that stage the shelf was stacked to the gunwales with the item I wanted.

Went in today to have to leave because your eftpos terminal doesn't accept paywave. I live around the corner so said I'd be back in a few minutes to the lady. Came back to a closed store before 4pm. Literally only wanted some Crisps. And you closed early. Between this and all the other experiences I wish I could go to another British shop but sadly your the only one around. Otherwise I'd be using a competitor. Most of your shelves are empty and out of date. It's the 20th century get an efptos provider that uses paywave.Also to the curious person in the review below who thinks that eftpos was released in the 21st century the 20th century is from 1901 - Dec 2000 eftpos was introduced to new Zealand in 1980s thus making it into the 20th century not 21st I know New Zealand are a little late to most things, but not that late. Overall poor stock levels, out of date food, and rude staff. Stock is not so much and issue as its covid and I understand covid has its restrictions, Rude staff on the other hand can be solved.

This store doesn’t even deserve one star. I agree with a lot of the other reviews of rude staff. Doesn’t take much to be nice, welcoming and polite especially if you want people to return and shop often. I would NOT recommend the trip. I agree the Shelves are often empty and a lot of the products are out of date. I haven’t returned a thing though even when stale as understand how hard with the world at moment but want be returning. I would find an alternative store like UK grocer in Browns Bay where staff were lovely.

The lady working there is not very friendly at all and have to say that although it’s cool to get some of the English classics, it’s ridiculously expensive. It’s so clear that there is major price gouging going on here. Expect to pay a bit more but this is a complete ripoffIn response to your reply. I never criticised someone because they spoke English as a 2nd language. Being friendly has nothing to do with how well you speak English. Having a smile and showing friendliness is a universal language.

The widest selection were the lollies section. The store felt a bit empty-ish and there are a few items that you can buy over at Pak n save…

I had to laugh at the last review from Adrian saying to get into the 20th century with paywave. Paywave wasn't invented until the 21st century. I have been to the store many times and always had good service. I also understand how difficult it is to get goods shipped from Europe in the current climate and hopefully this shop will be able to get back to having the full range of British products as when fully stocked they had easily the best range of Brit products in the country.

Went to collect a click and collect order this morning, opens at 10am arrived 5mins past. Staff advised they were not open yet and shut door in husbands face. At least have some manners if you were late to work. Such a shame always used to be a great shop.

Bought a selection of Crisps, biscuits ect but the Doritos and Party Rings they had a strange almost chemical taste to them so couldn't eat them, will be finding another UK store to shop at as unfortunately this was our first experience
