Walked in off the street looking for slightly unusual low value part.Fella there-possibly the owner- took the time of day to find a similar part and adjust with an angle grinder to make a perfect replacement part which then saved me 100’s of bucks on replacing a whole component.I offered him a few bucks for his time which he declined. All done in a pleasant and friendly matter. Legend.It all may seem a small deal but a service transaction like this made my day in a reasonably difficult time and allowed my son to spend another day in the mountains doing what he loves.Businesses like this are the heart and soul of New Zealand.
